Love this shop as it's one of the largest toy shops with plenty of toys to choose from and the staff is always great.

Great place to buy toys at the best prices, and the staff is really friendly. Just make sure to check the opening hours before heading there

I always go there to buy hotwheels but today i bought nth when i leave the staff ask me to check my bag. Just me！ITS SO RUDE AND DISRESPECT! That employee has yellow curly hair in the cashier area.

Staff were polite but they suffer from a very poorly conceived price match policy that they use to, in effect, void any potential price match.

If you’re going to avoid price matching competitors as ubiquitous as Target Australia (where the RRP matched the MSRP, rather than being inflated to boot), you may as well just ditch the policy entirely, rather trying to use the veneer to better your image, it’s a rather shady and underhanded practice.

Do not go shopping on this store any more. Your toy is pricier than anthers. Your promotion is scam. Shame on you

If you looking for mainline and premium hot wheels don't go there. They only have last year's fantasy hot wheels. Worst place to go for hot wheels

Excellent store - although a bit misplaced in the Homemaker centre. The staff are amazing and knowledgeable. Great decor for the kids and massive variety of toys.

Great selection good collectables staff are ok a little quiet but store is fantastic you should find what you need.

My son needed a toy washing machine. This is the only place that sells toy washing machine that really washes small tiny cloths like mittens

If you remember Toys R Us' physical stores, you'll be familiar with Toymate's vibe. But regardless of that, you'll probably love it anyway. The atmosphere is great, the selection is huge, and shopping here is an experience. You'll probably run across something you didn't even have in mind before you came in. It's great to finally have an in-person toy department store again in Melbourne. I really recommend Toymate.

It is a misleading statement when they say they do price match but there are plenty of conditions plus they don’t literally do price match when other retailers are doing discounts

When you promise doing price match only for rrp, you are basically not doing any price match because the rrp of the toys are pretty much the same for all retailers. Plus I never seen a retailer doing price match only for rrp not for discounts. Please do your research when you want to play “price match” game.

I think this is quite misleading and could fall into false advertising. You just better not promise the price match or do it properly.

Anyway, the customer experience used to be good but not anymore and not competitive anymore.

Monster store. Plenty of specials. It has a huge variety of brands. Great place for christmas and birthday shopping
