I came to Darren by way of a recommendation from a friend. I used to sing as a kid but grew a bit more self conscious as an adult. I had the sense that I had a decent instrument but I wasn't really sure how to play it and was embarrassed enough that I'd stopped singing for 10ish years.

Darren has helped me to pinpoint technical issues with my voice using drills that have given me more technical control. He's got a huge grab bag of corrective techniques and his years of experience and research allow him to very precisely identify and address problems.

After our lessons, I feel more confident in my voice and I am more comfortable belting out a tune in front of of people. I'm looking forward to exploring what I'm capable of as a singer and trust that Darren has the skills to guide me as far as I'm motivated to go with it.
