Total Tools Tullamarine reviews
34Total tools variety and layout is Excellent, Staff are very friendly and helpful, Prices are also Good
To put it simply: There is no service, they don't even keep in stock a simple 32mm holesaw, staff are very relaxed talking on their mobiles and chatting and joking amongst themselves, you get the vibe that your questions are annoying them. I will never go there again.
Very good helpful staff, even helped with delivery of a few super heavy items, 10/10 will shop there again!
It has been very smooth and awesome travelling this method I. Prefer using this mode.of transportation if it was more flexibility and availability
Prices are not competitive enough.
Counter staffs needs to be educated in customer service & get rid off their laid off attitude!
Found a hard to get item on a Sunday. Good job team you saved my Sunday production. Fast and friendly service from Sam.
Total Tools elsewhere is fine, the staff at this one have an attitude. Ordered items online, for some reason it ended up at this store.and they have no stock. After emailing the store and receiving no response I rang them and they said 'it's been ordered from the manufacturer'. I told them if I was waiting for a delivery from China I'd rather order something else. They said I could do that but then I'd pay twice and have two of the item. Extreme lack of interest in the issue, zero engagement with the customer and a supremely stupid website where stock levels are entirely arbitrary.
For what it's worth I submitted a complaint through their website and they didn't bother answering either.so maybe this is an endemic thing and the company culture is screwed.or maybe they just care about tradie non-online orders. Either way I don't care, it's not good enough.
I strongly suggest if you have to buy anything from Total Tools (and not for example Sydney Tools who are the same price) that you go to an actual store and walk out with your item, or go elsewhere.like Bunnings.
Late Edit> Still waiting, no emails or messages returned and no update to my order. Cannot cancel my order, supposedly it's on "Back Order' from another store. Online contact staff are from what sounds like the Philippines and while they're sympathetic they are completely ineffectual.
Final Edit> This was sorted above and beyond anything I expected and the issue seems to have stemmed from one demotivated individual who has since left the Business. Kudos to the Store Manager and the Owner for going the extra mile.
Very helpful and friendly staff. I was served. I was served by a young gentleman he was very pleasant and knew his products. All staff greeted my little daughter which I found great and so did my little girl.
Well organised shop and friendly staff.
Highly recommend.
Unhelpful and staff have an attitude. Didn’t care about the customer at all and didn’t offer to try and fix their mistake. Website shows stock but nothing in store so clearly not stock taking properly. Suggest you shop elsewhere.
Lack of urgency, awareness and care from the staff. Life is much easier if purchases are made at other stores and suppliers. Enough said.
Average service and not that helpful.walked the isles for a solid 10 minutes before I got a hand with what i was after
Staff are incompetent with warranty returns. They’re happy to make a sale, but their after-sales service is shocking. It’s now been 83 days (and counting) and my defective product (under warranty) is still pending. Each time I’ve called to follow up, they provide excuses and re-request a receipt (3 times now). It seems I’ve paid $1000 to own an unusable product.
Worst customer service I’ve received, enough for me to write this message (my first store review)
Bought tool combo just to find out advertising in catalogue is false when I tried to claim redemption though hikoki. They told me is my problem. Sent email asking Tullamarine store if they would honour advertising in thier catalogue but wasn't even given the courtesy of a reply.
Purchased two Yeti takeaway cups and tried to return as the lids leak when in work bag. Poor design for a product that isn’t cheap and equally poor customer service refusing to honour a refund or exchange. Makes little sense to me having a lid if it is going to leak. They will no longer be receiving my company’s trade.
The services may be good but the access to the centre is very much troublesome. Mickleham road is very busy add this affect the access. Otherwise their service is good, customer service representatives are very good and helpful.
The old men were rude and lacking of communication, while the young staff was good. They also doesn't offer item exchange if faulty, only repair guarantee. 3 stars for ruining my Sunday
Purchasing many tools from many retailers And before meeting Jake from TT Tullamarine I wouldn't go anywhere else. He understands your needs with your trade, builds rapport and honest which is an important trait. Someone who has an attitude nothing is too much. Not only is he someone that I've brought heaps from he's become a mate too. Great bloke and technical in his tool knowledge. Mark also is very helpful and has a strong set of technical knowledge when it comes to buying tools etc.
I’ll never go to this total tools again!
Massive ego and attitude from the manager very unhelpful stick to Sydney tools much better.
Worst total tools I’ve been to, walked into the store to be greeted by lazy workers leaning on the desk on their phones, I wanted to make a warranty claim after a product that was less than a week old broke, zero help did anything they could to get out of it. Will happily drive out to Sydney tools in Epping from now on they were great to deal with, even give discounts because of the amount of tools I purchased
Shane and Justin were incredibly friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning to Total Tools Tullamarine. Great experience.
