Even when there is 10 staff at the front it’s impossible to get help. They lie to try and get out of ordering more stock or checking if another store has any. Do yourself a favor and go to the Sydney tools next door.

Popped in today, I had Harrison serve me and found him extremely helpful with the purchase of a blower, after his assistance and recommendation I left with the Makita blower kit and can’t be happier with my purchase of a great product not to mention the value for money

Customer service is so important especially with recent competition in the area, but the quality of tools it really is a one stop shop. Personally I have recently found every staff member genuinely wanting to assist, keep up the great work

I have never delt with a business with such poor customer service. I highly recommend for all trades people to NEVER purchase anything from this store. I was told my paslode gun would take 3 weeks to be serviced. It took 12 weeks, and I was not notified of such a delay. I had the same experience with my radio. NEVER rely on the store. Goodluck everyone

Have found Mornington service to be up and down, last 2 visits ok,
i shop at Carrum Downs, when I first started dealing with TT, I asked Mornington for a deal on some tools, and they flatly refused without asking what I wanted (My order was around $5,000).
Straight after that I spoke to Carrum Downs store, got an indication they were flexible on price, have been making my major purchases ever since with them.
I'm a believer of shopping local, but like another reviewer, I have experienced someone in a mood (upon dropping in for a click & collect) clearly management, very rude to me, (i showed up early) and barked orders to others.
I believe it is important to treat your staff well and always lead by example, (even when you don't feel like it) and they will treat your customers accordingly.
If you are that wound up you cant deal with the GP, maybe don't be customer facing.
I deal with Jamie at Carrum Downs who is awesome, polite, goes to great lengths to help and provide some traditional customer service.

Hubby just bought a pneumatic tyre and wheel from Bunnings Mornington for $87 but thought he would check out Total Tools and found exactly the same product for $50. Always worth taking the time to compare. Thanks Total Tools.

Female staff member I believe her name was Hannah? Was exceptional, didn't end up buying anything but she was more than happy to give me a hand especially given my lack of experience or knowledge in this field but she was great highly knowledgeable and great customer service. Will be coming back just to deal with Hannah.

Pathetic customer service, intended to spend $3,000 on the day after spending $1,300 three days prior only to be told no deal could be done and then female staff member walked off without a care in the world when I tried to explain my purchasing history. I happily left the store and drove straight to carrum downs total tools and was given a 20% discount due to the amount of items I purchase prior and was purchasing today.

Don’t recommend going to them at all, same level of service as a kid working at Bunnings with no care at all.

Very disappointing indeed and a review on staff training is definitely required in this location.

The guys in the store are really nice and friendly, but the store never has ample stock. If your going to sell tools make sure you also sell the consumables. The welding section in the store had next to nothing last time I visited. You are selling 1500$ machines without the wire or rods to use it. It’s like getting a remote control car for Christmas without batteries.

Had ridiculous trouble getting parts for a near new Milwaukee line trimmer.
Gerard understood my frustration and took parts off of a floor model.
Much appreciated. I finally have my better half off my back (just in time) and the yard is looking good again.

More staff than customers usually, most not very knowledgeable about their products. Don't stock the full range of the brand or run out of stock. Take ages to order something. Web site is useless! You would be far better off going to another Total Tools.

Anytime you take something back faulty they either argue to not refund or the techs claim it isnt faulty

Absolutely sick of it

Waited 4 weeks to "fix" a drill and they never rang, when i did they said its not faulty

The have done this 3 times now
Your staff act like its their money
Warranty your products properly!

Apon making a $250+ purchace wich I was happy with, I was even happy with the service I recived from the salesman, Then what I could only assume to be a manager or Higher up of some sort on a major power trip came and spoke to the salesman like trash infront of myself and another customer next to me.
Having a go to him and swearing about an oil issue out the back. Not only did you embarrass the salesman, but you made you level of professionalism look poor.
Leatn to control your anger infront of customers and treat your staff with some respect or find another job.
