The staff in this store are always friendly, professional and very helpful.
Whenever I walk in someone asks if I need a hand with anything and when I tell them what I’m looking for they can always take me straight to it.

The experience at Sydney tools just down the road is polar opposite, with rude unfriendly staff who make you stand and wait ages while they’re all stood behind the counter on their phones or chatting!

Fantastic crew of people, I always feel super welcome in the store! All the staff are extremely knowledgeable, they have always gone out of their way to help find exactly what I have needed! Great team

Had one of my new milwaukee m12 ratchets decide to kick the bucket on me not even 2 weeks after owning it, i called up asking if i could organise a warranty claim and one of the boys got in touch with their milwaukee rep and had him come out the next day with a new unit for a straight swap.super impressed with the response, couldn't be any happier.cheers guys

Very poor customer service from staff who don't know who they're real employer is. Been dealing with Total Tools since the 90's but I've had enough. Kilsyth is the main problem

These guys told me they had a brand new Festool cordless circular saw in stock, so I drove an hour each way to buy it. A premium product at $1424. Upon arrival, I saw that they had boxed up the display unit, hadn’t even wiped off all the dust and it was covered in scuffs. It’s deceitful. They then refused to discount the tool at all and said the Festool rep wouldn’t let them. All in all a rubbish experience.

Big thanks to Zilin and the other staff member who helped provide me with a part that cannot be located anywhere else. Extremely professional and friendly should 100% get a raise

Disrespectful service at Kilsyth Victoria store.
My apprentice son (16yrs) purchased a $1700 Lincoln multi processor welder 4 weeks ago. All was working fine when he was welding mild steel (DC) then when he tried to weld aluminium (AC) the welder would not work. He tried to troubleshoot with his work mates that have extensive welding experience, and they said that the AC side is definitely faulty. My son went back to the Kilsyth store and explained the problem and expected some level of basic customer service. Instead the store staff dialled the Lincoln office number and gave him the phone to sort out the problem with Lincoln directly. As part of the ACCC regulations this is not allowed as the sale is between my son and Total Tools not the manufacturer. Lincoln took down my sons details and said that they would call him back. A week later no call back from Lincoln. If our son knew that he was not going to be supplied customer support in the event of problems with the welder he never would have purchased the unit.
After a week, we went back to Kilsyth store and told them we needed to have the problem resolved before Monday as my son has some aluminium welding he needs to do. We were told that the 3 year guarantee is with Lincoln and we must sort it out with them. I explained that we purchased the welder from Total Tools and not Lincoln, and that due to the poor service and lack of confidence in the welder, We wanted a refund so we can buy a welder from somewhere else as he needed one on Monday. The store manager said that he knows all about ACCC and will not give us a refund, and that we can deal with Total Tools lawyer going forward. Great to see Total Tools cares about our future tradies. Since Paul Dumbrell sold out, the corporate culture of Total Tools as changed a lot and it is extremely disappointing to see how the customers are treated since the change in ownership.

Very helpful staff and friendly service. Staffing levels are higher than self serve shops like Bunnings so it saves time.

Excellent service. Staff were great. They didn't have what we wanted but we got a totally suitable alternative.

Always remembered me as a customer and kept me updated, ordered the tool I needed with perfect service. Could not recommend more highly. I will be back. 'Insider bucks card had just expired the 30 days and all they could say was sorry. They are totally in their rights, however 2 years a gold member, it doesn't make this member happy. '
Total Tools have contacted me since posting the above and apologized saying it should never have occurred. They have honoured the insider bucks and topped it up with more to say sorry. Their actions have kept this customer.

Total Tools Kilsyth is my go to store for all my tools and Tradie needs. I’ve bought Milwaukee power tools, compressors, air hoses and other bits and pieces. All are good quality and well priced.

I purchased a ladder here today, really appreciate the excellent customer service here, especially thanks to C. K, you are so nice!

I purchased a Pedestal Drill in 2015. It was faulty straight out of the box. I was advised to buy new belts out of my cost a week after purchasing. After numerous attempted I have exhausted all avenues to get my Drill working to standard. Today was the last straw when I found the head cracked and the tensioner for the motor has broken off inside

I will not be purchasing anymore tools from Total Tools to avoid having to deal will their customer service.

Excellent service.didnt have what i was looking for in stock and there was a long delay on getting it in.where kind enough to point me in the direction of another supplier so i didn't get stuck in a pickle.

Have purchased a few things off them without issue, just recently ordered a makita part and I ordered the incorrect part - the team at Kilsyth changed it over and gave refund for diff, thanks and great service
