6star service, huge tool shop with EVERYTHING U NEED/WANT.
Staff very helpful and polite.

Went to total tools in grovedale and the service was absolutely amazing! The manager was super friendly and gave me so much information on belt sanders for my deck. Being a little lady who doesn’t know much about tools the manager Matt was so helpful and didn’t make me feel silly for all my inexperienced questions, which I really appreciated. It’s so nice to know that there are kind people out there who are willing to share their expertise and offer advice when it’s needed. Thanks guys!

Absolute rubbish service from one manager Matt S.

Use to shop at North Geelong store till this opened up and thought I'd give it a try as its in my postcode.

Been here on one occasion trying to get a price match on a Makita drop saw was all good with the guy on the floor then Matt comes out and says no. When I asked why not he said the deals got to be in the same state.

Contacted total tools head office and they confirmed he should have done his job and done the price match as nowhere on their website it states needs to be in the same state. Not to mention the "Lowest Price Guarantee" plastered across the front of the shop.

6 months later thought I'd give them another crack as I've purchased something from the North Geelong store and was on the way out to a job in Lorne and the item wasn't correct so had to stop into Total Tools Grovedale for a return and to purchase the correct item,

Once again Matty boy jumps up to the front counter saying no I'd have to take it all the way back to North Geelong as "they couldn't do it"

Once again contacted head office and once again they confirmed this is utter rubbish. Went into North Geelong and asked them the same question and they said a return can be issued from any store on any stocked product.

Not only does Matt constantly refuse to follow company procedures and policy's thinking "oh I'm doing such a great job saving the company $20 on a price match" but he alone is about to cost Total Tools my account.

Which not to mention is always above 5-10k per year and always a gold service member.

Thought being apart of the gold tier member is guarantee price match? Nah Matt alone calls the shots on that which apparently overwrites head office and website policy.

Matts utter rubbish attitude shadows this entire store and if he's not dealt with and brought up to speed on policy's bye bye Total Tools.

To summarise in short don't waste your time or money at this store, go to North Geelong as they've always been keen on price matching and helping, sometimes even beating the price match.

Customer service is the best. Very helpful team. No issues with checking a price for me. Great team. Treated like your part of the team. Will always shop here.

Great local tool shop. Very spacious, well laid out and well stocked. Competively priced, with helpful staff when information or advice is sought. For the tradie to the home handyman, this place is like an Aladins cave.

I called for advice on a product then purchased online after being recommended the right product,
David was super helpful as I organised a click and collect then unfortunately I couldn't get there, however David made it very easy to make other arrangements to get my items collected and delivered, Thanks guys it's good to see good service still exists.

No stars! What an absolute disgrace! Walked in there today with my husband and child only to be told to leave my handbag in the car or at the front door desk! I have never ever been treated with such disrespect! Get with the times!
