Toscano's of Kew

Huge range of food - not just a greengrocers. A bit too big for me, somehow: I prefer the layout of their Windsor branch, but excellent produce and good service at competitive price for the quality.

Leaves supermarket produce largely in the dust. - at a price. If you can't find it here, you'll likely have trouble finding it anywhere else.

The fruit is always great quality here and the staff are also really helpful, Especially Dom he always helps the ladies carry the shopping to the car and is very helpful.

These guys always offer the freshest food available and i enjoy coming here and seeing Dom's smiling face, he smiles so much I wonder what he is up to.

The freshest locally grown fruit an veg, best source of local quality produce in kew. The business quickly adapted to the covid-19 crises so they could stay open while keeping staff and patrons safe as well. Very impressed.

Local institution. It is worth buying fruit and veggies here because the LAST SO MUCH LONGER than say the supermarket "produce". Great service with every local school kids right of passage to work there.

Great independent market store, lots of premium brand cannot find elsewhere. Veggie fruit and meat product are fresh, price is high end as you can imagine, worth going once a while. But some product is same as other big supermarket but more expensive. If you want to support local store, it is the one to go.

Fabulous range of quality fruits, vegies and flowers and a whole lot of deli and other items to salivate over. Don't go for a bargain, but go for tje gourmet delight!

Been around for generations now and still doing what they do best. Fresh fruit and vegetables (unfortunately not much/barely anything organic) which are sourced as locally as they can be, and when its just not in season i.e. Pomegranate in October, then it's from the US. But everything is labelled with the pricing so you know the providence of your food and can either accept or reject it. Staff are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Hey - they still carry your groceries out to the car if you want them to! How good is that - like having someone at the pump to fill your car with petrol (sigh.remember when?). Quality is really good because the (generation of) owners are involved totally in this business - you'll see them on the floor unpacking produce. This is a little more than just a fruit & vegie store as there is a good deli, small selection of quality imported and local cheeses in a cheese 'section'. There is also prepackaged fish and meat and chicken. Tins of tomatoes (of course, they're Italian!), pasta, olives, olive oil, vinegars, imported sardines, eggs - there's plenty going on. Limited parking out the back but plenty in the area. Worth a look.

Great quality fruit, vegetables and small goods. Price is not the cheapest but is fairly reasonable for most products.

Sometimes Toscano's goods aren't just better than what you'd find at the supermarket around the corner, they're also cheaper (case in point: peanuts). Good range of some otherwise hard-to-find products; a few uncommon juices, occasionally some unusual fruit you've never seen (ever tried an achacha?), solid deli section and plenty more (now including alcohol!). Friendly staff and management to boot. Just ignore the overpriced "health food" products (who's gonna pay $10 for half a kilo of overhyped muesli?)
