Toscano Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar

The atmosphere and waiter is great but the food here is disgusting, I ordered a Medium Well Steak, It’s sooo overcooked it was like burnt and more cooked than well done.

Lovely place for a lunch, went in and got the trio of dips, fries and beef ragu and thought they were great, absolutely loved the roasted capsicum dip with the soft focaccia. Definitely recommend

Most of the meal was nice bar very chewy steak staff were not fussed and didn’t seem to care. Coles budget steak is of better quality. Rest of the meal was nice

Our family went here tonight. My husband had the lasagna which he said was one of the best lasagna’s he’s ever had. His only complaint was that it should be served with chips and salad. The Italian chips were nice and we ordered an entree the seafood prawns, squid and octopus was very nice. But then I ordered the prawn pizza it was shockingly bad I couldn’t finish it. The base is like eating hard thin bread and the prawns tasted like they came from a freezer no flavour just yuck. My husband did say his wine was very nice. Maybe Is depends what you order here. The service is very good the restaurant lacks atmosphere though. Maybe some nice Italian paintings or something it’s very bland. After that pizza I wouldn’t be in a hurry back. Maybe if I ordered lasagna or pasta it would have been a different story.

Absolutely brilliant, authentic Italian place. Really good prices and fresh amazing quality food. Reasonable prices and a brilliant selection of drinks too. Staff were absolutely fantastic. Would certainly recommend this place for anyone who likes authentic Italian food.

Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly but that is the only good things about the restaurant.
The place was bland and had no atmosphere and was not the least bit inviting.
The medium steak was rare and not very tender.
The pork was supposed to have baked vegetables a few cubes of baked potato and 2 pieces of broccoli is hardly baked vegetables.
We have been there before but we will not be going back again.
The food is overpriced and the cook is very heavy handed with the salt.

We went for dinner with 5 adults and 3 small kids.

We ordered one bottle of wine and a couple of Beers.

Service friendly. And efficient.

Food was bland.
Pizza wasn’t wood fired.
Tasted like one you get from the frozen isle at coles.
Porchetta was chewey. No crispy skin. And the entire plate covered in gravy that was so over salted. Only a few bites were taken. And not finished.
Seafood marinara was bland. Pasta was dry with not enough sauce/ liquid.

We also had other pasta that felt re heated (the pasta was clumped together and dry.

The waiter came mid way to ask how food was. But when all meals are not to standard what do you do? They aren’t going to re heat more food, or re cook the entire table. So we copped it on the chin.

The place has potential but you’re better off spending the money at the pub down road.

We took the family for dinner tonight, it was a very warm and welcoming place on a cold winters night. Corey, our host, was amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was beautiful as was the dessert. Highly recommend.

What a find! The food in Toscanos was outstanding. The Fritti Misto, Porchetta and Veal Scallopini were all delicious. Will definitely be back. Loved it.

Extremely small serves but very pricey. There were 15 of us. Everyone went home hungry! Would I go back? I don't think so. Staff were lovely. Rest rooms excellent. Shame about the food!

Had dinner there last night. Ashlee, our waiting staff member, was outstanding. She was attentive, efficient and friendly. Our food was served promptly. It was tasty and satisfying. The house-made desserts were great too.

We had a wonderful night out here with friends. Great food, great staff and a lovely setting. What great bathrooms. Someone has spent big money on this venue and it is a great night out. Cannot recommend this enough.

Very good food. Had one of the best ravioli and steak. Staff was very polite and very nice.

Awesome service, mains were nice but a little underwhelming.
Wasn't a fan of barefoot people and thong wearers at a nice little restaurant, I thought it was a bit gross.
I'll go back and try a different main and maybe update my review then.

Hmmm, an “interesting” place. It certainly looks the part but….
A bit like “all froth and no bubble”.
“Genuine Italian”cuisine! I had the risotto and being an Italian Restaurant I “assumed” I would get genuine Italian Risotto.
If what I had was genuine Italian Risotto I’ll stick with what I can get down at the local food court. Not impressed at all.
The staff were really friendly and helpful, the Decor very nice however, the food hmmm, not so sure.
I also felt that the wine selection was/is over priced.
