Absolutely the worst “university”. I applied for one course only a diploma level and they gave me an offer for a course that I have no interest in. I tried to contact them and showed them the problem. And the response I got was asking if I needed help to accept the offer. When I put in a complaint to say how unorganised they are they blocked my student account. Thankfully I have found a better institute to study at that are far superior. Do yourself a favour and go to any other university or tafe to do your studies.

Today I’ve spoken to a student service member regarding my study at Torrens University, her name is Beth and I would like to say thank you and I really appreciate her kind assistance regarding my issues and confusion. After the discussion with her I feel much more comfortable and relieved!

I been charged for the subject and i deferred from this uni within the right time and it been going on for years fighting that i submitted the request form. I gotten told that they had it and then next they said they don’t have it. I gotten told that they didn’t charged me but when i looked in my my gov they still have money.
It been going on since 2020. The reason i left this uni was due to the fact the teachers had no clue how to teach and pure rude and ego driven.

WORST UNIVERSITY EVER. AVOID IF YOU CAN, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE NURSING STUDENT. It took me 3 years to complete a course that was supposed to be 18 months. Placement was always delayed and I had to do more than 400 hours of placement interstate.
After three long years, I finally fulfilled all the requirements for Bachelor of Nursing, but the university is not issuing me a completion letter. When I contacted student services, I was told to wait two weeks for completion letter, but it has already been more than six weeks. I have called student services multiple times, but they have no idea what is going on. I have not been able to commence my grad year due to delay in certificates.

According to university policy, completion letter should be issued within two weeks of fulfilling all the requirements of the program.
I would like to kindly request you to follow the policy of your own organisation.
I wish I could give negative stars.

Worst college ever. Educators are worst. They try to fail you intentionally. All you get from this college is anxiety.

Great attitude from the staff in the design technology store. James is quite supportive and always willing to help.

Would definitely not suggest business subjects: systems thinking. Had it as elective subject, (course director), would ask u to mention that person as Dr (so called), if u miss that on assignment higher chances for u to fail. One teacher asks you to discuss with friends regarding assignment, while other opposes it.
Also, same subject, one teacher is ok for u to use Mendeley to cite while so called doctor and AI officer might accuse u for copy pasting if u use mendeley for citation.
If u r from any other subject do not take subjects where Arezou is subject lead. Just a warning

I'm unable to get my refund on time as my visa refused. According to University within 28 days amount will be refunded it's been 36 days I didn't get my refund Literally it's reaky hard to believe that this much reputed university is taking take even giving their own words. Plzz refund my fees I need to do my further process in my own country. Plz refund my fees aur shall I contact Australian high commission or Australian government regarding to this. I'm also mailing there is no response from University?

Some of the teaching staff need to learn how to be supportive in their student's learning experience. Ignoring concerns and being inflexible are both unacceptable and frustrating; it was the worst semester of my life. Emailing the teaching staff personally only to have the facilitators tell me that I am the only one to blame for the teams performance when I did 80% of the work. After voicing my dissatisfaction, the teaching staff replied me with a slightly threatening email pointing out how bold I was being. How professional.

They do not respond to emails.they do not serve on the phone or in person but refer you to online forms which they don't respond to

Torrens took nearly 2 months to respond my Refund request regarding to my Bachelor deposit. My Diploma COE got cancelled by the University and I am totally eligible for the refund of the Bachelor course. They took that much time to reply that the deposit had been used to adjust the Diploma fees for which is absolutely irrelevant, as they cannot make use of that deposit for any other purpose without my consent. I have sent an email to request the invoice that reflects this and they still have not responded. When I was still doing the Diploma, if I was late for the fees a few days, they immediately sent an email of intention to report and cancel my COE, also charged me $100 for paying late. But now when I asked the money back from them they take this long to process. If there was -5*, I would definitely rate for this university.

Absolutely arrogant management. You cannot reach over the phone. About 45+ international students lost 20 grand money at the time of corona. The institution did not help them in anyway. Some lecturers are good but bad and very poor management. International students - this is not a place for you.

THE WORST STUDENTS SERVICE. Didn’t get all supports when having problems. Not recommend to choose this university because you can not get the support when you have trouble.

I did not like any service from this University. They took the fees from me in USD dollars and cheated me back in Australian dollars. Because of which I have suffered a lot. Because I am from India and this amount is in lakhs.

I have experience with a few different universities and by far this has been the worse. Their priorities seems to be more about cutting costs than looking after their students. My entire experience here has been very impersonal. Signing up wasn't too hard but way more difficulties than expected. Their student services and software in particular blackboard is poorly coded and clunky, there is no way to directly contact lecturers, getting help, and trying to navigate their online platform has been overly difficult throughout my experience, this is coming from someone who is quite confident in this use of software and computers. One of my lecturers wasn't even in the country for the duration of my classes. The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because I was in a difficult situation throughout my experience here and I didn't feel like I had enough involvement to give 1 star, but I would of given more than 2 if involving myself wasn't a challenge every step of the way.

Absolutely pathetic administration/student services. I'm honestly telling you not to enroll in this university you'll just waste your time and money.
