Despite an error on our part when booking the staff member bent over backwards to help resolve the issue. She showed genuine concern and helped to fix a problem. Rooms clean and comfortable. Laundry is an added bonus.

Fantastic accomodation for the price. Can do with an upgrade of a few things around the place but fantastic service from staff.great, clean room and amenities and free washing machine. Very clean pool and spa, plus large play room with ping pong, bbq, sink and change area. Back of the motel room looks out to a beautiful landscaped area with sliding door that has a fly screen going out to table and chairs for smokers. Highly recommended

Delightful stay. Unexpected large room on entering with big comfy couch for TV. & dining area. Microwave. Bedroom adjoining room. Very comfortable bed. Shower over spa. Big bathroom!

Perfect for family. Park outside room. 4 min drive Torquay township which offers everything! Easy no fuss place to stay. Manager terrific person. Helpful too. Manager said McDonalds only a quick walk. Recommend

Very good price for accommodation. Reception very accommodating as well. Bit far from the beach but also quite central and good for a short stay

Rooms were tired and outdated. Bathroom was quite grotty with visible mould and odours. Disappointed.

Older style motel. Nicely renovated. Clean and neat. Close to surfing outlets but a bit further from main shops. A bit noisy with road traffic initially and other patrons very noisy late at night and early in the morning.

Absolutely lovely staff, very clean and really good price. I stay in torquay a lot and have now found my a fave I’ll be making a regular! Great location as well

Due to Covid restrictions and the last minute cancellation of a nearby Life Saving Carnival, I contacted Torquay Tropicana Motel less than 24 hours before we were meant to arrive. I was unsure whether I would be provided a refund since it was well after any normal cancellation requirements however without hesitation I was advised that I would receive a full refund. Although I am sadly unable to comment on the motel itself, I considered it important to register my gratitude to its operators for being so considerate in these very difficult times (especially for small businesses such as their).

I stayed here a few years ago. Staff was super nice and helpful. The inn is just a few hundred meters to the shore. There are laundry facilities on site. Fast internet.

Old hotel rooms, staff not as friendly as expected. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Bed sheets were old and not upto our expectation of clean.

Great spa unit huge all that and more clean relaxed atmosphere.

Unfortunately I had to cancel my booking because of the covid lockdown in Brisbane. I hoped they would allow me to change my dates and come at a later stage in the year and provide me with credit. But they won’t. I definitely won’t be staying here on any of my future trips and neither will my friends or family. Very disappointing.

A fantastic cosy holiday accomodation. For what you are paying you get a easy access stay with a awesome outdoor pool and spa that is very clean and maintained surrounded by green palms.

The service is fantastic from the friendly talkative manager to the room maids everything was always stocked and replaced the next day.even the little cookies which just shows the detail in providing a great service.

Obviously if you want something modern go to the RACV resort where you will pay a premium but for the money everything was fantastic at this gorgeous time capsule.

Fantastic! Friendly owners. Rooms were clean and cosy. We had a pool and a games room! Parking right out front your room. Heaps of towels and refreshments. Bed was comfy too! We will definitely book again:)

Friendly crew! Initially thought it would be noisy from the road but turned out ok. Clean and comfortable, a bit of a walk into town, great location! It was freezing whilst there but can't help the weather!

New, bright n shiny. Lovely hosts. Reasonable over night rate. Great facilities. Slightly out of town for food and drinks.

The Motel is run by some fabulous friendly people. It is very clean and looked after. There is a small pool for the children as well.
