Following treatment from Andy over several visits I have been able to resume running and feel stronger than I have for a long time. I had issues in my running that were causing me pain. Through a carefully designed program of exercises, both strength and flexibility and hands on work I’ve gradually been able to build up my running to a point where there is normally no pain. On the rare occasions where there has been a little soreness the practices that Andy had put in place for me have meant that I have been able to continue running and get through and back to no soreness. The best thing about Andy’s approach is that it has empowered and taught me how to train and know how to deal with small “hiccups”. I also know when it is time to make an appointment and get back in to see the professional although that is now not very often!

I love seeing Claire! She’s pure joy and a great physio. I recommend her and Torquay Sports Medical to everyone

If you care for your feet and want to keep walking for longer, don’t be embarrassed to seek professional help and keep your feet in great shape. Bonus was health fund paid for 90% of visit. I have been seeing maddy (Podatrist) and Chris (osteo) for a few months now and have found them to be fantastic. They take a holistic approach, listen to you, explain what they are doing and talk you through options. They are both very friendly and welcoming. I could hardly walk and was in constant pain when I first saw them. I can now walk pain free and my body is no longer stiff and sore. My calf’s are no longer really tight & I feel great. Highly recommend them both

I attend Torquay Sports Medical Centre and see their Osteopath, Christine. I cannot rate her highly enough. She incorporates a whole body approach and ensures that she finds the source of the problem, not just treating the presenting problem. I have found great benefits since attending and Christine is able to make recommendations of other practitioners to see if she believes they will be able to help in conjunction with the work she is doing. She has a bubbly and friendly personality and is highly highly knowledgeable in her profession. I highly recommend seeing Christine if you're in search of an Osteopath!

I first came to the clinic to see a podiatrist about getting shoes for work. I hadn't been to a podiatrist before and didn't really know what to expect. Maddie was very professional and thorough with the examination. She helped to determine which shoes were best for me and my job. I found this experience to be very eye opening and a "game changer" for me. I stand on my feet a lot as a PT. Getting professional advice to make my feet stop aching during the day and to support my feet was well worth it.

The second time I came to the clinic was because I suffered a shoulder injury. It was getting in the way of my work and teaching. I needed to get help to continue my work without any pain. I saw Andy for physiotherapy. Over three weeks he helped me how to rehabilitate my shoulder and showed me how to correct my posture to stop it from reoccurring.

I would happily refer this clinic to anyone who has an injury or wants to get the best out of their work and sport.

Chris (Osteo) and Lachy (Physio) are a fantastic all round wellness team. They both worked with me for 9 months before I had back surgery (disc bulge compressing the nerve) keeping me as function and strong as possible and now we are 7 weeks post surgery and I am feeling incredible and ready to start personal training again. I put my speedy recovery down to these 2 amazing individuals and the prehab. Highly recommend. Thank you both for everything you have done for me. Feels good to be getting back to being a normal functioning person.

I have been attending Torquay Sports Medicine Center since the day it opened along with my kids. A one stop shop, I love that I can get the right practitioner to assist and that they work together to keep me fit and healthy. They even liaise with my trainer to ensure that they know what will help me recover. We have seen the Podiatrists, Physios, Sports Masseuse and Doctor and each of them has gone beyond what I have experienced in the past. Their professionalism is second to none and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
