Toro Sushi

Best sushi i ever had. Highly recommend! Great prices and service too, super friendly staff. Sushi id always fresh, love it. I love the California and the Katsu Prawn, so tasty.

This was my go to place for sushi.amazing sushi all the time always.until i got a horrible case of food poisoning from the bento box which made me terrified to eat meat again

the sushi tastes great don't get me wrong but it really brought into question the infection prevention

Seared salmon maki was very disappointing. Not seared or cooked in any way, very thin salmon on top (tbf it was a friday) and a lot of cucumber (image on uber eats doesn't show side profile.)
Sauces and rice were good but that's about it.

Food is always fresh and delicious. Not had a bad experience in all the times I have been. Which is about every week.

Awesome! Just bought an 8-pack Takoyaki. It’s pretty hard to find them anywhere that doesn’t serve Japanese. Great presentation for takeaway and all correct ingredients were there. Awesome attention to detail. Nothing bad to say. Gotta return soon!

Best sushi in the area if you live in Lynbrook or Hampton Park. Their seared salmon nigiri with Mayo is too good, esp when just cooked and so tasty I always get it

Best sushi by far, love my spicy ones, used to come here every single day through the week for lunch when I worked in the area, now I do my best to get some whenever I get the chance, always up for this sushi place Staff are lovely too!

Ordered dinner from Toro a couple of days ago through Ubereats. We were pleasantly surprised how fast the delivery was.
Our order:
Tempura Prawn Nigri was great.
Flavour of Takoyaki was good but disappointed to find one small diced piece of octopus in the middle of a soft filling. The bonito flakes on top were a nice touch.
Spicy Grilled Salmon was delicious with a hint of spiciness. Wish the salmon slices on the rice were a little thicker though. Sushi rice drowned the taste of salmon a fair bit.
Chicken Karaage was great but the Chicken Katsu Don could have been better as it was a little dry without enough sauce.
Bento Deluxe had a fairly good amount of sushi and the salmon was fresh, but then again the "Crispy" chicken on rice weren't crispy at all and quite dry.
I wish the lettuce leaves were fresher 'cos when you see them wilted, it gives a bad look to the whole meal. Overall, the meal was good. Certainly there's room for improvement and that's the reason for 4 stars.

During lockdown we have been getting this delivered frequently for my daughter. She says it is fresh and delicious! We will be ordering again.

After school I went to this sushi place to get vegetarian sushi for my sister, the customer service was really good because the girl told me what it had In it and made sure I wasn’t allergic to anything. It was my first time eating sushi and after eating, it made me go back and get 6 more.
I recommend this place for everyone and especially for people like me who want to try sushi.

I'm really surprised there are not many reviews yet. I ordered the assorted box this time for lunch and I was not disappointed! Very happy to have some delicious sushi local to Lynbrook.will absolutely be ordering again! Keep up the good work!
