Absolutely pathetic food.no comaprison for dumplings.

Friend rice was made up of rice stuffed in the kitchen.whi h is stale.very low quality!

The best food we’ve had in a long time. So tasty - every single dish. And the service was so friendly! Absolutely recommend.

Everything was amazing, my only regret is that I got full and couldn't eat anymore dumplings.

It really bugs me that this place has a Japanese name but serves Chinese food.

The Sichuan style spicy chicken covered in peanut sauce was not spicy at all. I was expecting a cold chicken type dish but that just wasn’t it. The Xiao Long Baos have thick skin and no broth inside. Just really disappointed.

Ordered on ubereats, got green beans that I didn’t order instead of dumplings, which were the main part of the meal! Now I have to go and get something else for dinner - waste of money

Great place, tasty food!

This place it great, we were walking past and had a quick look at the menu, wow, we were easily sold. It was a hard choice, everything looked good. We settled on the spicy peanut dumplings, pork belly with soft bread and cucumber and mice noodles.

Everything has super tasty but the pork belly was my standout. I had a couple of tap beers, the black Orion is a favorite of mine and went perfectly with the dish.

I wanted to try the pork balls, they looked great but unfortunately that was something we had to order ahead in advance. Next time gadget…

Chicken and prawn dumpings were great. Abig no for lemon chicken that they served, it was extremely sweet. Noodles were overcooked and lacked any sort of flavour. But dumplings were amazing

Best Xiao Long Bao I've had. Obviously made fresh, they don't rip when you pick up and the meat is legit - you can see the prawn.
The wontons had more meat than I've seen and were delicious.
The male sever was one of the best I've seen at any restaurant since the pandemic.
Great value too!

Dumplings were of such a bad quality - service very bad. Just a very unpleasant experience unfortunately.

Best pork shanghai dumplings i've ever had! I was only in Melbourne for a weekend and stopped here to refuel inbetween shopping, best decision ever! And really well priced too.

We've been regular customers at Tora dumplings, both in the original location and the new- not sure what's going on lately but the last two times we visited the food and service have deteriorated. The dumplings were thick and stodgy, and the new corner location, disorganised and unclean!
New owners perhaps? Or new management? I'd give this place a miss!

100% recommend their pan fried pork dumplings. I revisit many times, the dumplings is so fresh, juicy and full of flavour.

Pretty much a I love dumplings under a different name even has the same menu.
Place used to a awesome cool burger joint with heaps of colour and style.that's all been removed and now it's bland as hell, food was mostly on the colder side as they seemed to be reheating most items.
Do not recommend.

The BEST dumplings in the inner-north! I work locally and come to Tora Dumplings every Friday. The super friendly waiter always remembers my order (im a bit of a creature of habit) and is very quick to bring water & take orders whenever we are ready. The food itself is very well priced and extremely tasty. I get the boiled prawn & chicken dumplings along with the Black Pepper Beef & Rice dish and it's hands down to die for. I have brought several colleagues/friends along and they have also had a very good experience. I can very highly recommend trying Tora if you're in town!

Im writing this as I'm eating, had to stop and do this first, had a chat with the owner he took our order, Super sweet person with amazing customer service and the food oh my god I can't even say how amazing and flavourful this food is what ever I would say would not justify the amazing taste of this food.

VEGETABLE DUMPLINGS WERE DIGUSTING. Come to Melbourne for some “good food”? Well done come here, yeah you think it’s a traditional, wholesome dumping restaurant. You are wrong. The staff were mean and the dumplings were almost like a deep fried spinach sack. Don’t come:)

Great food, super tasty and generous portion sizes. Great prices. Hot and sour soup, and chicken & prawn dumplings definitely recommend.
