Toorongo River Chalets

We recently had our wedding at Toorongo River Chalets. Our day went absolutely perfectly because of the fantastic team! Troy, Cathy and the rest of their team went above and beyond to make the day go smoothly and ensured all guests were well taken care of, so we could enjoy our day and not have to worry about logistics. I highly recommend the venue to anyone looking for a wedding venue or anyone wanting a little retreat away from the city.

Thank you so much Troy and all of the team! Our wedding was everything we could have dreamt of and more! Everything we asked for was catered to, if we couldn’t find something or get something, Troy would find it for us. Every guest said it was the best or one of the best weddings they have ever been to because of how beautiful the venue is. This is by far the best place in Victoria to get married. Will never ever forget this beautiful venue and the staff that made our day so amazing. Thank you thank you thank you ️️️️️️️

Wedding weekend, glamping, owners couldn't do enough for us. Reception, food so awesome and couldn't eat it all. Staff helpful, friendly and fun. Great place to chill in the country as well. Can you give 10

Overcharged and no refund was given. Beautiful venue, would otherwise give 4stars. 5 stars for value for money had the correct amount been charged.

I cannot praise this place enough. We stayed at the Mannagum chalet for the weekend and had our wedding at the venue by the river bank. The chalet was nice and cozy with a beautiful view. The staff went above and beyond. We were shocked and amazed at how much effort everyone went to to make the day perfect. Everyone was so helpful. It was definitely worth every cent. We will definitely be returning to the chalet and will definitely recommend the venue to friends and family for future weddings.

Cheap products used, definitely not up to standard for what you pay.
No heating in bathroom or kitchen, very cold and bleak.
Not worth what you pay, shame as a beautiful area.

So much to like about this property! Very private with beautiful view of the river. Lovely outdoor private spa.

We were there to celebrate my nephew’s wedding. It was a magnificent setting, in the open air with seating for the immediate family and shading for the other friends. The reception area setting was magical, with quirky areas set aside for such food items as giant doughnuts for both big and little kids.
What was most impressive was the quality and quantity of the finger food that appeared frequently throughout the evening. Assisting in this was a high ratio of staff who were so courteous, fun, knowledgeable about the food, responsive to requests, and generally pleasant to have around. They really made this special occasion even more memorable.
Thank you all for one of the most heartwarming experiences ever. I couldn’t recommend you highly enough!

Although I'm a Celebrant, I was a wedding guest here 05/02/22. The gardens are beautiful and the reception room & outdoor landing/dance are were lovely. The meal tasted excellent, but way too small; ie: 1 dinner plate of lamb and 1 dinner plate of chicken was served to each table, to be divided by the guests for a table of 8. Alcohol was provided by the couple and served by venue staff.

Accommodation is very expensive here at $600 per room, per night and is a minimum 2 night stay. Even to camp or stay in my own caravan here with no power or water is $25 per person per night, however they did provide a driver with a 6 seater golf buggy type vehicle, to pick up the campers & take us to the ceremony area on the other side of the property.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Not a luxurious chalet, very over priced. Ran out of gas which meant no heat, no cooking, no hot water. Could not contact the owner for over an hour. I asked for a discount and Frank (owner) offered the night for free and then reneged. I tried to get in contact many times to resolve the problem, extremely poor communication. Extremely unsatisfied, this place is over priced and the owners are very unprofessional. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Do yourself a favour and escape the rat race to this unreal landscape. Beautiful river out the front. Close to the stunning Toorongo Falls. We sat out in the spa on dusk watching the sugar gliders climb the trees and glide into the sunset. Quite magical. Beautiful cozy lodge. Super private and only the sounds of the forest. We loved it and will be back for sure.

This place could be amazing.it has great views of the land and river. But unfortunately it wasn't up to 4 star standards. When we arrived at the Treefern Chalet, it was absoloutley freeing. No heater was put on. We also noticed no instructions for ANY appliances. But we let these things slide and we had a great first night. The second night was a disaster! We were gonna have a spa which was outside (the reason why we booked this place) and there was no hot water to fill it up.then we discovered our heater stopped working. As both are run by gas bottles. We had no gas left. The same thing happened with the couple next door and they had a baby with them. You can't have no heat in Noojee in winter. This an essential that should not run out of gas! Management were very slow to respond to our complaint but in the end got us to move to the Redwood house which is.nice but not what we paid for. The house was also freezing with no instructions again. They did apologies to us and gave us wine but this is very disappointing and doesn't give us confidence to wanna come back here.

Went away with mum, it was rlly cool we went fly fishing and it was just an awesome weekend. Cant wait to go back

Manager and staff extremely helpful. Nothing was to tricky thankyou from our fussy family. Will definitely be back.

This place is one you can never forget. Beautiful views clean accommodation and very helpful staff. We will be returning, think we have found our new little getaway. 5 stars from me would give more if I could. So in love

Warm and friendly staff, top tier service, accomodation was clean, comfortable and accompanied by the most spectacular views. I will definitely be back soon:)

We had a wedding there on the 20/3.
One word Brilliant.
The staff the food was far beyond the call of duty.
I would highly recommend this to anyone.
We even took our caravan and parked down the bottom, no power.
Showers and toilets not far away.
