Tooborac Café and Post

The Tooborac Cafe is not in the heart of Tooborac. It IS the heart of Tooborac. Quaint, relaxed and welcoming. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. Very friendly vibes and an all round lovely experience.

Found the place in passing but what a find. Coffee was top class, food was excellent, prices very competitive but the cherry on the top was the service, what a bloody great mob they are. If I'm ever out that way again I'm timing it to be here for lunch.

What a find! Delicious food, good coffee, friendly staff, local gifts & a nice atmosphere. Can’t tell from the outside how great this place is but you won’t be disappointed!

First time visiting but will definitely be a repeat customer! My meal was delicious, chocolate milkshake was tasty and the staff are so lovely. Highly recommend stopping here for breakfast/brunch/lunch: D

Dropped in for a late lunch.
A delightful clean and fresh cafe.
We enjoyed the magnificent Tooby Burger, with either scotch fillet or a patty. So much salad with egg and bacon. Delicious.
The only thing I would improve is to have my chai latte hotter.

On a motorcycle trip, they let me stay for 3 hours waiting for heavy rain to stop. I bought a coffee, decaf and soy and it was great. Watch punters devour hamburgers that looked very good.

Great coffee and burgers. I love the Tooby Summer Burger. There are some quality gifts and good tourist information available here too. Enjoy

Always a pleasure to stop past the Tooborac Cafe. Always a friendly person to greet me behind the counter and great food. I’ve been stopping here for almost a decade on my trips and never had a bad experience. I highly recommend people stopping here for a break on your drive, an experience you will never regret.

Stopped in for breakfast and had a Veggie Burger with bacon and boy was it delicious and fresh! Lovely atmosphere and cosy inside. It’s a great little place to stop in for a meal:)

Best food and a really comfy cafe to sit and rest between Melbourne and the Murray. Had a mini Tooby burger and a small chips and was the best burger I've had in a long time. Nice welcoming service and a family buisiness too.

I had an emergency stop here for petrol, I was on my last few minutes of driving, dead empty and Bang an oasis for petrol. Great little store. A definite stop for something to eat and a hot chocolate in front of the fire while sitting back on their there old leather lounge and chairs. Fantastic experience. During summer it's all about milk shakes. Coffee, OK. Good for quick petrol stop. Offers a range of things from food to postage and candle gifts. A great environment and staff have that country friendliness we all love. Excellent HYW stop and experience. It's like stepping back in time, to a very different Australia.
