This is the 10th or so time we have come here. Each time bringing new family and friends with us.

Today it was mum and dad from cairns and they were just blown away by how amazing Mish (owner) and Grace (our server) was. Just so polite, accomodating and just full of joy. Also mum - who’s a big connoisseur of all things fish was amazed by the flavour of the Moroccan spiced grilled barramundi with the crispy skin.

Thankyou so much as always TR team. Will be back in a couple of weeks with more family and friends for another big delicious meal.

Amazing food, this isn't your local fish and chips. Food is fresh, hot and so tasty. Pictured in photos are the soft shell crab burger, the fish wings and the southern fried fish and chips.

Quality. Fantastic food and service. A well stocked bar.
Book ahead of you want to eat in as it gets pretty popular.
Not cheap but worth every cent.

When we first arrived, honestly the service was shocking. We had two people seated before us (despite us arriving first) and then had to wait 10 minutes for our table to be cleared. I was already writing up a 1 star review and was ready to walk. We drove 45mins to this place and the disappointment was immeasurable.

But we decided to stay only because we had driven such a long distance and were very hungry. Wow am I glad we did. Firstly I think the poor service came down to the fact that they were getting slammed and possibly understaffed for how busy it was, because once we were seated everything turned around.

The waitress we had was charming and friendly in a way that didn't seemed forced and they were all genuinely sorry for the start of the experience. When we requested to move inside, there were no issues at all and we were promptly seated in a booth.

The decor inside was lovely, with nice catchy music to match. The atmosphere was really nice, so its definetly worth seating inside if you can.

The manager (I think) spoke to us at several times and hyped the food up in a way that made us salivate at the thought of all this delicious seafood.

We promptly ordered the large chef special platter for two and while waiting, they even surprised us with free mocktails which was very much appreciated.

Then the food arrived and wow, what an incredible selection of seafood. Its not often that I go somewhere and have no complaints on the food. Not even a minor suggestion for something to improve the dishes.

We were blown away by the quality and freshness of all the food. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection. At first I questioned the $100 price tag for this platter, but amount and quality of food you get was amazing.

Amazing food, and the staff were great. Even though the shop was so busy, we were greeted and the staff were on top of the customers and accommodating everyone. The food was delicious and honestly expected to wait longer for food that good. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Service is excellent. The fish n chips are good. Crunchy but not overly greasy. Will return for another feed!

Absobloodylutely sensational lunch, served by Indigo and another delightful staff member. Great menu variety. Fantastic food, freshly cooked, generous helpings. But it was the friendly, helpful, enthusiastic staff who provided excellent customer service and made for a memorable experience. Will most definitely go back there.

The two girls running the table service were incredible, we could see they were inundated and super busy but they were still so lovely and thoughtful and provided impeccable service.

One of the best restaurants we have been to. The food is extraordinary and the staff fabulous. Went there for fish and chips take away. Ended up staying for three hours. Highly, highly recommended.

Great food and friendly service with a nice set up inside. I Got the Spiked Burger and Chips this time but have tasted a lot of their menu previously and most of it is fresh and tasty.

Excellent attention and dishes. I recommend the hot pot which is exactly to the famous zarzuela from Spain.

I have been here a few times and they are usually really good. When I had takeaway a few days ago, I ordered the southern style fish and chips meal. The fish wasn’t quite right and I spent the next we days on the toilet. I’m not happy and can’t see myself going back….

We walked in and checked in first thing, weren't really greeted but rather abruptly and rudely confronted by a female staff member in her 30s I'd say Brunette not too tall white top, demanding that we check in even though I kept telling her that I had, she kept trying to grab my phone. Really aggressive woman. She was more concerned that we checked in then bothering to ask for our vaccination certificates. We were with our young toddler who was getting restless and just wanted to eat. She kept going on about doing her job, rudeness and aggressive behaviour isn't part of customer service last time I checked. We'd actually travelled 30mins for their seafood platter which once seated. We were quite turned off by how disgusting she was and decided to leave as she ruined our experience and put a bitter taste in our mouth. We weren't there to buy just cheap meals either.we'd rather give our business elsewhere and avoid this place completely eewwww. Table was stickey, cups had finger marks all over them and cutlery wasn't clean so eewww just from observing and tables as we were walking in piled with dirty dishes not very appealing at all. Management needs to be spoken to in how to speak to customers and especially with young children, I dont accept anyone speaking to my partner and I with such aggressive tonnes infront of our baby claiming to be "Just doing her job". DISGRACEFUL AND APPALLING! So glad we decided to get up and walk out. -1000000/10 from us and we will be spreading the word via social media platforms, so mean and in these times Owners can't afford to have staff like this.

Called up to get some takeaway at 5: 55pm (online ordering was offline), was on hold for 40 minutes to then be told it will be another 55 minutes to get any food. Same story when I asked if we could dine in.

Staff were apologetic but clearly so understaffed that they couldn't even take a phone call. I just had my phone in my pocket on hold to see if anyone would ever pick it up.still haven't tried the food so can't comment on that but if it's that hard to get food then what's the point.

By far the best fish and chips I have ate this year, it all melted in my mouth with great service and a beautiful store.keep up the good work.:)

Food is yummy, staff are amazing. Music was a bit loud, the only thing that irked. Still, 5 stars!
