Nice lamingtons. Shame there's only one gf flavour at a time so you easily miss out if that's all you can eat. Found it very hard to order online as it often says out of stock even ahead of time, and delivery isn't shown even though they say it's an option.try calling and no-one picks up so I go elsewhere.
*Edit.thx for the reply. I have no issue with stock running out on the day, I expect it with only one flavour which is gf. They have been lovely when I can get them. However, It's disappointing when something is still not available to order online in advance and no-one answers the phone to place a direct order.

A very nice, cool, and chilled place to visit. Featured on MasterChef as a challenge for the contestants on the show, the lamingtons are definitely delicious. I can imagine it being difficult to make as well. Every later and every flavour is there for any lamington flavour you choose. They change it every now and then. I had halo halo lamingtons last time but now there are new ones. I went in on Christmas Eve and there were Christmas themed lamingtons. It tasted like Xmas sure enough! The spices from the Xmas pudding and the cherries made it taste like Xmas. I would imagine more and more flavours would be born depending on the season and whatever creativity they have in mind.

Finally went to Tokyo lamington to find out what all the fuss was about. Had the black sesame and the matcha rainforest. Didn't really like it. The first one was really dry and scone tasting.

The lamington latte was delicious but so tiny for the price.

Lovely charming cafe and vibes! Had their lamington latte, matcha lamington and salted salmon onigiri (as recommended by the friendly lady serving me) and all were super delicious and of great quality. Will definitely be back to try more!

The Lamington are a bit too sweet to my preference, but it is good for those who loves sweet haha. Their service very nice and kind! The design inside is minimalist and a little Japanese vibe, I like it hehe
Ps: the Yuzu Lamington is sweet but GOOD!

Never underestimate what a good lamington can do to you?
Made fresh daily in-house, we headed down to Tokyo Lamington to try the cult dessert that’s been shared by the Sydney crowds!
Their lamingtons are definitely unlike any other - we went in honestly not expecting very much - with our lamington experience limited to that from our local grocer, but boy were we impressed!
The lamingtons we ordered - miso chocolate (our favourite) and carrot cake were both super light and moist and unlike our grocery type lamingtons, were generously filled with cream which complimented its cake-like texture!
Also complimenting the lamingtons were the matcha lavender latte as well as their uniquely blended houjicha & strawberry gum latte - this one you won’t want to skip out on!
Overall our experience was a delight and and we were lead on surprise after surprise - all in the best way!

The place looks good and the service is great, but I didn't like the Lamis. I had an OG and a Sake special, both moist, but the flavour was not impressive. The coffee was delicious, though.

Amazing lamingtons! Yuzu is my all time favourite. Sake choc is my new found love! The chocolate in sake choc is very decent! Amazing place!

Amazing little spot!

Love the display of the different lamingtons on offer, and also the merch on the side wall.

Fantastic customer service too!

Service is strangely slow and chaotic and both savoury and the deserts are overrated. Good coffee though.

Stopped for morning tea planning only to only grab a lamington, but stayed for drinks on onigiri - best decision ever. Cute shop with happy friendly vibe and smiling staff. We ordered the kombu mushroom and tuna wasabi onigiri (not too potent), the Yuzu espresso and hojija latte and both got sake chocolate lamingtons. Everything was fresh and flavourful, well worth the trip.

Tokyo lamington is a Sydney based cult dessert that has recently expanded to Melbourne and heads up you may want to get there early as they popular flavours sell out quick. My heart was set on yuzu meringue but sadly there were none left so I consoled myself with a snickers and blueberry cheesecake. Both tasty and at $7.50 a pop reasonable for what they were. The rotating flavours is what will keep you coming back

Cute little place, staff are so polite and friendly. The toilet was a nice luxurious surprise (warmed toilet seat). I got a hot choc and the Yuzu meringue lamington to have there, plus some takeaways. Lamington was light, fluffy and delish

Good coffee, nice staff and the yuzu meringue lamington is delicious. The price is high but it’s nice for a treat.
$9 for yuzu lamington
$5 for flat white coffee

I didn't like lamington until I tried their lamington. Definitely worth a try. Can't wait to be back and try all the flavours. But the yuzu espresso tonic is.ummm.wasn't sure if it was weird bc of the espresso or the tonic water. But overall, REALLY GOOD!

Very tasty lamingtons, good selection of savoury pies, have other little trinkets you can buy as well.

Great range of Lamington like cakes, packed in neat little boxes. The coffee is a Japanese style blend. There are also a range of savoury treats as well.

I am a huge fan of Lamington and this place is a dream cafe for me. Their cakes so soft. I tried the OG and Yuzu meringue.

Absolutely delicious lamingtons. Of those I have tried so far, I highly recommend the strawberry shortcake and japanese forest flavours.

I also recommend their black sesame latte: it is the best one I've had in Australia.
