2Lovely painting on the walls, great customer service and delicious food. The owner gave us an order of free churros so that was a definite upside. 10/10 would recommend for anyone looking for that authentic Mexican cuisine feel at reasonable prices. Thanks to the owner for the free churros and my companions extra burritos.:)
This place is definitely overrated. The food was ok, not great. Grilled corn was undercooked which meant the kernels were hard instead of plump and juicy. The chilli con carne was ok in flavour but the amount was disproportionate to the corn chips, along with tiny portions of the guacamole, salsa, and sour cream. The salsa was a runny liquid instead of having chunks of tomato, red onion, herbs etc that bring freshness to the dish.
The churros weren't too bad - they arrived hot and fresh which was nice.
Service was excellent - the girl who served us was lovely and attentive.
