Tim Neville Arboretum reviews
44Been coming here for years and it has changed so much, for the better, great grass areas, great facilities, great for families.
A beautifully maintained park with a large pond, formal gardens, an amphitheater, playground, barbecues and walking tracks. While not very large, this park is charming and has many varied landscapes to explore. There are friendly ducks to feed and beautiful floral displays to admire. The paths are set with artworks from different community groups. For the little ones there is a fully enclosed playground with double flying fox, swings, slides, climbing frames and a sandpit. All areas are accessible, but there are some places where the wheelchair/pram friendly route is longer and an energetic toddler might get away from you!
The arbortoreum apears as live art most achievably due to it's design ideas made real by a team of workers.a most satisfying spatial.
Love love LOVE that this playground has a fence around it! ALL PARKS SHOULD.bbq is close to playground to make bday partys easier. And the grounds are beautiful too.
Right down the road from me! Great place to pop your earphones in and go for a few laps around the lake, visitors can be inconsiderate of the parks animal & water regulations but its not the parks fault.more education needs to be available in multiple languages for tourists who don’t know how to read the signs around the park.
Great place to relax and unwind. The place is getting better every year as the various trees are maturing. Love going here on a hot summer night.
Best picnic spot for everyone. At least 4 BBQ shaded places, lots of different outdoor activities for kids <10 years
Must visit
It's an excellent park! It's got something for everyone, you can feed the ducks and there is silage on what is appropriate to feed them and why aswell as information on the lake, wildlife, plants and flowers. The air usually smells beautiful from the flowers and the playground is so much fun for the kids! There's also bbq's. Only downside is the secret bamboo garden is usually vandalised and has alcohol bottles and cans unfortunately. Apart from this I love to bring my family here for a walk and play
A great place for a picnic, walk and kid’s playground. It has a well maintained garden, amphitheatre, picnic BBQ undercover areas, lake and an interesting play space for kids to wander in. The local RSL has a memorial there too. Ample parking or in a local street area.
Love this place. Has an awesome little lake that has large goldfish and lots of ducks. Has a variety of different gardens, from herb/veggie garden to olive trees. The playground is very big and is for all ages. For those playing Pokemon Go, it's a Mecca for pokestops and gyms. Can spend hours here walking around.
Really loved this place. Plenty to do for the kids with the playground and loads of space to run around or get up close to the ducks. There are also well maintained gardens to admire.
Nice Park with all facilities. Kids play ground, rest rooms, BBQ & picnic shelters.
Relaxing walk towards Dobsan's park where more facilities can be found.
Absolutely beautiful park, fantastic children's play area, bbq's, not many tables & chairs so if you have a crowd bring extra chairs, the gardens beautiful, walkways with wheelchair access, pond, fountain, secret garden, soo much to see!
Only let down were the toilets, dirty, no seat on the toilets & no sanitary bins for women's needs, no where to dry your hands on a cold day after washing, there us a disabled toilet and change table.
Amazing park with great playground facilities, ANZAC memorial, public toilets, bike repair station and ample parking. If you live in the area I would highly recommend you check it out!
Great place to walk safely, great for tge kids, a coffee and meet up, bbq facilities are a plenty
This is such a beautiful little reserve so many different textures and colors and little nooks and crannies to explore. It has a simple war memorial, an amphitheatre, rocks and water, picnic area and a lot of grassy space for dogs and kids to roam.
A very nice place to take the family for a picnic.lot's of trees for shade and table settings with BBQ facilities as well. Nice lazy days spent here.
This park is a hidden gem at the corner of Maroondah Highway and Ringwood Bypass in Ringwood, Victoria. The Park has a stream which feeds a small lake, a very diverse playground for kids, clean public toilets and ample grass space for a lovely picnic.
Love taking kids to park its enclosed and has equipment for all ages and pond is lovely to sit and relax have bbq, feed ducks or just watch world go by
BBQ, shade, fenced playground, lovely parklands and pond, seating, toilets and bins. Only concern is a few friends have had run ins with creepy people here in the past.
