From the start, Darren was incredibly professional and personable throughout the whole process! The photos are incredible works of art and our family will treasure these photos forever. Darren and his crew made the whole family feel so comfortable and also made us look terrific! The processing and framing was also super quick and we had our photos in time for Christmas.

We had the most amazing time with Darren for our photo shoot in Melbourne. He made our family feel comfortable immediately and was amazing with the adults, our 20 month old grandson and our puppy Duilio. He spent 3 hours with us discussing and helping us to choose our pictures and we are so happy with the final result. We cannot wait to get our pictures up on the wall.

One thing I love about Darren Tilnak fine art photography is his natural skills, flare and ability to grapple any different situation that photography may present and he always delivers outstanding fine art results that capture that one special moment in it’s rawness of what it is.
No fluffing around and yet so dramatic and real!
The two books he’s brought through I especially enjoyed reading, they are a good wake up to reality of making it or breaking it as an up and coming photographer.

If you're looking for true "Art", by that I mean images you'll look back on fondly after 14 years like I do. Then, you have found your man. Darren is a true master in his field. Its more than "point and shoot" with him. His physiology, a real understanding of what looks great once the "shutter button" is pressed will be sure to please the fussiest. I should know, I'm one of them!
Darren's also an author. It's honorable he shares the passion with others. True testimony to the professional he really is. I couldn't recommended Tilnak Black & White Fine Art Portraits highly enough.

Very professional and skilled photographer. The photos are exquisite, timeless and a beautiful family heirloom. We get comments on how amazing and different they are to most family photos with young kids. We have done two sittings with Darren over the years with children at a young age. Definitely recommend.

The photoshoot was a breeze and it was evident that Darren and Efi knew their stuff. They put us at ease - and were great handling our young ones as well.

It was also an enjoyable experience sitting down with Darren afterwards to view and select the images to be printed.

We had our families photos done back in 2008, it was a great experience and we got to include our dog! We had various shots taken and they all look fantastic. They are all beautifully framed and hung around our home. Being black and white, they just don’t age. We still get compliments on them all these years later.

After being a bit reserved about going along with my wife's photo booking (I am not normally a photo person), I could not have been happier with the comfortable environment Darren created. The outcome for our family was outstanding and our experience has given us a slice of time, forever recorded, with quality, rather than an uncomfortable snap against a studio board. A true professional at his craft.

Tilnak Fine Art donated a photography session for our not-for-profit's recent GALA. I know the recipient of the photography session was delighted. And I can say from my perspective, they have been a delight to deal with. Would highly recommend.

Couldn't be happier with choosing Darren as my photographer. I wanted some photos taken prior to my mastectomy and felt very comfortable with Darren. Due to my surgery I had a small window of time to get the shoot done, Darren and his wife Tracey were very accommodating and empathetic to my situation.
Darren organised a zoom meeting prior to the shoot to understand what I wanted to achieve and the shoot was seamless. Both Darren and his assistant Effie were total professionals and made me feel very relaxed (I'm usually quite awkward infront of a lens). I definitely left the shoot on a high.
The post shoot experience was also excellent. Darren's studio is beautiful old building with a large projector in the viewing room where I was able to choose my favourite photos from the shoot. The hard part was not buying them all! I was blown away by the quality of the raw images so I'm very excited to see the finished product

Its been the third time we have used Darren for photos over a 9 year period. This time it was a real challenge with our 2 year old daughter who does not sit still. What Darren was able to achieve is honestly better than anything we could have ever dreamed of.

The results are amazing. Darren and the team take care of everything and honestly bring out the best qualities in everyone. If you are thinking about it, do it, its worth the investment and something you will treasure for many years to come. Thanks again Darren and Tracey!
