Great place for a quick getaway, very close to Mt. Buller. Cozy & comfortable house with full service kitchen, well appointed amenities, open plan kitchen, dining and lounge with wood fireplace. Great views of snow capped peaks and kangaroos that come to the backyard for morning graze. Enjoyed our stay

What a truly beautiful place to rest your head after a long day skiing. Warm and cosy, spotlessly clean, open fire, comfortable beds, plenty of space and everything you need to cook a nice dinner, have a wine and relax! Even a packet of Tim Tams on arrival and a visit from the local Kangaroos at sunrise. It's just what you need when you're tired and hungry!

Stayed at Tikkandi for the Vic Interschool Ski Championships. Great location, beautiful house with loads of room, awesome views and so close to Mt Buller. Couldn't ask for anything more. Will definitely be back. Thanks

Ok so I am one of those people that stayed up all night looking for the perfect place to stay with some friends near Mt Bulla. I got very lucky when I came across Tikkandi. It was unbelievably clean, private and cozy with absolutely everything you could want to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. There were heaps of games and dvd's for kids, big kitchen and nice outdoor area with amazing views of the snow topped mountains. It's also great to share with another family as there is a bathroom downstairs too. The best part by far was the open fireplace. I must of searched hundred's of properties and they all had the cheap glass gas ones. There really isn't anything like an open fireplace after skiing all day. I have now been back to Tikkandi 3 times and I recommend it to all my friends. The guy that owns it, Michael, is so nice as well, a real gentleman. Anyway, I don't normally leave reviews but felt the need to talk about this one as it is responsible for some of the best memories I have. I will definitely go back everytime we go skiing or just when we want to getaway.

Tikkandi is a holiday rental house located at the base of Mt Buller. You can stay here quite cheap and ski on one of the days and then go mountain biking, fishing or just chill in this awesome house with an incredible garden. We have see deer in the backyard every time we've stayed here. There is also a Italian restaurant down the bottom of the road that's quite tucked away. "A must stay for this area"

What a wonderful place to stay, brilliant house and great location. Everything is included in the house, including one of the best decked out kitchens in a holiday house, even has a selection of cook books.
Nothing like a glass of wine by the open fire on a chilly night.
The children loved the deer in the backyard.
We'll be back for sure.
