I couldn't write a more positive review for David and his team at Thrive. I went and saw David when I was on my last hope during my pregnancy. My sciatica pain was so severe I could hardly walk some days, I was just in agony and nothing was seeming to help. I read online that David has lots of experience treating pregnant women which put me slightly at ease as I was very hesitant about seeing a chiropractor whilst pregnant. It was the best decision I made, my first appointment David spent an hour talking with me. Not just asking me questions and trying to get a guage on my situation and background, but also took the time to explain everything, where the pain comes from, why it's here and how he wanted to try and fix it. He was extremely gentle and knew exactly how to position me so I was comfortable and there was absolutely no risk to the baby. He knew how to make my adjustments in a particular way that was safe for us both. I mentioned I was a first time mum and didn't really know much about what I was doing, being a father of 6 he was happy to offer any advice I needed and answer all my questions. I had to see David regularly throughout my whole pregnant as my son really did a number on my back, David is the reason I was able to walk and keep working right up until D-Day.

Post birth he's been seeing my son regularly to help with some feeding issues, he could see we had some issues straight away so recommended a speech pathologist who was also amazing and has fixed so many of the major issue we were having.

David is more than just a Chiropractor, he is incredibly knowledgeable so is happy to make suggestions and recommend other professionals to ensure you're as healthy as you can be. I also saw Mel a few times and she was just as great as David at keeping me on my feet. The reception staff are also so lovely, I had many a conversations about my pregnancy and my work with those lovely ladies. Thrive was a godsend for me and I'll be happy to recommend them to everyone, they are honest and if they don't think they can help you, they'll tell you straight away and not waste your time and money.

I went with my sister and her new baby, my nephew, to see David. I had never been to a baby chiropractor before and it was so beautiful. He explained everything too, which was awesome because I had no idea about a baby’s body. It was a real eye opener. David is such a kind man

David and his team have been friendly and welcoming from the very beginning, as an anxious adult it was great meeting a team so friendly! David has helped me more times than I can count now and will continue to be my regular Chiropractor

We saw Dave McLaren for our 1 week old baby. Dave was absolutely fantastic, he explained the purpose and technique of each of his treatments so we felt really comfortable. Our baby had a forceps delivery and was not breastfeeding, the night after we saw Dave our baby consistently started breastfeeding! Cannot recommend this clinic enough!
