Three Sugars Cafe reviews
76 We visited 3 Sugar’s Cafe in Warburton on the 26th of January, National Australia Day. Understandably, the cafe was busier than usual due to the public holiday. The service was okay but a bit disorganized; our food, ordered under one table number, was served in two parts with a 15-minute gap between them. We attributed this to the busy day. The prices were higher than the Melbourne average – $99 for a sandwich, fish and chips, and drinks for three people, averaging $33 per person compared to about $28 in Melbourne.
I ordered a fresh chicken avocado sandwich, which, to my surprise, was served on toast that remained untoasted, rendering it somewhat soggy and nearly tasteless. My partner had fish and chips and was quite disappointed. The dish consisted of a single cheap, battered hake fillet that seemed old. It might be our last time visiting this cafe. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.
Elite food, Elite Service. Thanks for a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They use sustainable products including biodegradable straws and cardboard takeaway containers.
Great coffee.hash brown stacker for the win! I think the hash was home made.crunchy outside zac, soft inside
Absolutely delicious, there vanilla slice was the best I’ve ever eaten I highly recommended trying one
Lovely lunch here with my brother on a sunny Saturday. I had the chicken caesar salad and a couple of espressos. The chicken caesar salad was excellent. Coffee was good. For dessert we both had half a vanilla slice each and it was really creamy and whipped up with a crispy pastry. Very good example of a vanilla slice. Staff were friendly and relaxed although very busy! Other customers were nice too. It's not a really sparkling establishment in terms of decor I'd describe as rustic and perfectly suited to the surrounds. Five stars all round. Will come back here next time I'm in Warbie! Came back here and had cheeseburger with fries. Just enough, not too filling and chips were tremendous, very tasty and crispy! Another successful meal!
There is some secret warbie magic that makes the coffee tastes better I can't explain it
Lovely Cafe with a beautiful balcony eating area. Great variety of meals, snacks and treats. Lovely staff with great service!
Great little place to have lunch
I prefer to sit on the back verandah
Great atmosphere and prices are good
WE called into this cafe this morning for a quick breakfast. Very friendly staff and great food. Creative menu at reasonable prices.
I came at 4pm but bad luck kitchen had been closed. Just enjoyed a cup of flat white and it is up to standard. Next time should come early to taste the breakfast as we checked comments it is good.
10/10 incredible cafe!
Great, friendly service from all the staff, clean restaurant, yummy food, indoor and outdoor dining and spotless bathroom.
Delicious vegan savoury options
(Wouldn’t highly recommend the vegan choc cake unfortunately)
Lovely staff, lovely food and took really good care of our dog too with great baked treats for her:) will definitely come again
Hearty simple but very tasty food. Service was friendly. Just what you want at a touristy town when wanting a bite.
Coffee and steak sandwich was quite frankly superb! And on top of that the service was impeccable!
If I could give this lovely cafe six stars I would. The staff are friendly and the epitome of customer service. I asked if they'd do me an iced tea (not on the menu), "I think we could do that", if they had some lemon, "I think we have that too", and then made me a delicious and refreshing iced tea on a hot day! They gave me a complementary home made dog cookie for each of my dogs! There were smiles all 'round as the kids enjoyed their icecreams and we decided we absolutely had to have a slice of their homemade carrot, coconut & sultana cake too.
This place is not somewhere I would recommend to anyone. I went here earlier on and I ordered pancakes, now these were some of the worst pancakes I have ever had, they were in a lake of syrup on the plate leaving me unable to eat them after attempting to cut them up they were all soggy but the service here is wonderful just not the food and their hashbrowns look like a piece of fried chicken and are horrible would 100% not recommend.
We came for morning coffee & a treat.then returned for a light bite in the arvo as it was that good! Excellent food, minimum wait & wonderful staff
Yum! I got the French toast with maple bacon and eggs. Great portions and friendly service!
Edit: Day 2- We tried different dishes on the menu. Both very delicious. The mushroom bruschetta
The register lady who looks like Lili Reinhart was super nice to me, lovely vibes from everyone:)
We had a brunch there yesterday and the food was fantastic. The flavours we excellent. Good coffee.
We will definitely be back
