The quality of the meat at Thornton Butcher is exceptional, particularly the sausages and the bacon! The chilli beef jerky is out of this world! The staff are so lovely too! It’s a must every time I’m in town!

Best sausages in Victoria! We had the meat and veg sausages at the Rubicon Hotel, the meat was delicious and they had pieces of corn & capsicum, amazing!

Always fantastic prices and service with a smile. I highly recommend it. The updated store looks great. Thanks to my Pirate Friend for making shopping for meat fun again. The butcher reminds me of a Pirate.

Always stop in here when i'm at Eildon or Thornton fishing (usually once a month or so), their kabana is the best you will find anywhere (real pepperoni style kabana, not like that garbage you get from a supermarket) and their smoked beef jerky is probably in my top 3 of my favourite jerkies ever.

The snags they sell there are top notch. The Thornton "big bangers" and the "hot italian" snags are my fav. They have something for everyone.

Friendly staff, local produce, Aussie owned and run. You cannot do much better than a butcher like this. There aren't as many around these days, so it's definitely worth stopping in. Their produce is A1.

Competitive prices to city supermarkets, quality that is so much better.

We come to the area every year for a break and always visit the butcher, multiple times. They have the Best produce I have ever had! Always delicious, tender and just amazing! Good job boys!

I've been stopping in at this place about 2-3 times a year for the past 15 years, when I am going through to Eildon or Jamieson.
Always stock up on homemade straz and kabana, the best by far anywhere, and everything else they have is top quality with extremely friendly people. Thanks guys

Always great meat and snags. Their homemade cabana, beef jerky and bacon is the best. Follow it up with great country service, one of the best butchers around.
