Thomastown Discount Drug Store

I went to Discount Drug Store - Thomastown on Tuesday 12th July 2022. I was served by Theresa. She was polite, friendly, kind and very helpful. She had great customer service skills. Thank you for your help and I would highly recommend this place.

Went to store today around 9 pm
Don't know the name of the lady who helped me. But service was amazing and she helped me to find what I need and put so much time into it.

Went here tonight to have a Script filled. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude. Had a friend behind the counter and spoke to her for five minutes whilst I was waiting. Then when she called me over she continued to speak Italian to her friend the whole time. I said Thankyou twice (thought maybe she didn’t hear me the first time) and she didn’t acknowledge me once and just slapped my script and receipt down on the desk. I made sure to get my receipt so I could hopefully get the ladies name which is Maria. Pharmacist was lovely. Maria was not! This is the second time I’ve been served by Maria and she was just as rude the first time. It’s such a shame. If you don’t have customer service skills then don’t work in customer service. Simple.

My wife and I were there just after 8pm Sunday 30 January 2022. We were looking at the cough and colds shelf when an employee pushed past us to show another customer the same medications. WE WERE THERE FIRST! When we complained after she had served the other customer we were told it was a professional only area and we should not have been in there. I have shopped here many times and I know it's just another aisle in the store. Maybe the other customer was a friend of hers and that's why she got special treatment?
We have shopped here for many years and always been happy with the service, but after being treated like dirt to ight we might never come back.

Well, don't bother booking a vaccine at this place, after the very rude Zina {nurse & pharmacist) booked me in and said wont be long, 45 mins of watching her do script after script I asked why and she said I have to do scripts first. I don't mind waiting my turn but serving people turning up half hour after me, without an appointment, If you don't have a nurse on duty don't take bookings, even the methadone clients were in and out in 5 mins!

Worst pharmacy I've ever come across. Charging too much and no support.
Having hugely bad sezuer because they fd up is not on. Will call an inquest on them.

Wonderful and amazing experience each and every time I visited. Everybody working at this cost effective, efficient, clean, and amazing pharmacy are super good humans. I have always got my required prescription related or over the counter medicine from here. Not really any long queues like other supper big places and not long waits. I have always been treated well by the staff even if it was for documents attestation related visit.

Whenever I don't find required medicine, I come here and the wonderful staff always help me. Thanks for helping today to find Medicine for my daughter. You helped me many times.

I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE '''O STARTS" IF I COULD.
VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM.
I WAS THERE EARLIER TODAY WITH MY AUNT. MY AUNTY HAD SOME CITIZENSHIP PAPERS THAT NEEDED STAMPS ETC TO TAKE TO CENTRELINK. WE GET THERE EXPLAINING WHAT WE WANT AND THE WORDKER WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONSL AND RUDELY SAID THAT IT WILL TAKE HER A WHILE TO PHOTOCOPY ALL THE DOCUMENTS AND WE SHOULDVE CAME PREPARED. MY AUNTY HAD COPIES OF THE DOCUMENTS SO WE GIVE THEM TO HER AND SHE TOLD US TO COME BACK AFTER HALF AN HOUR. I DIDNT WANT TO ARGUE I LEFT AND WE WENT BACK AFTER. SHE STARTED DOING THE DOCUMENTS AND SHE WAS COMPLAINING TO US THAT WE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN HALF OF THE DOCUMENTS ELSEWHERE INSTEAD. I VERY KINDLY SAID TO HER THAT YOURE BEING VERY RUDE AND SHE SHOULD CHANGE HER ATTITUDE TOWARDS CUSTOMERS.
IF YOURE LAZY THAT IS NOT OUR FAULT.
SHE SAID TO ME ITS NOT MY JOB. I REPLIED WITH, IF THE PHARMACY PROVIDES IT THEN IT IS YOUR JOB.
IF YOUR STAFF MEMBERS DONT LIKE THEIR JOB THEN THEY SHOULD QUIT AND STOP GIVING US A HARD TIME WITH THEIR ANGER ISSUES.
KEEP IN MIND THAT MY AUNTY DOESNT SPEAK ENGLISH VERY WELL, IMAGINE IF I WASNT THERE, SHE WOULD PROBABLY SEND MY AUNTY TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO DO HER DOCUMENTS.
AS WE WERE LEAVING SHE COMMENTED, THAT IF WE WOULD EVER GO BACK FOR MORE DOCUMETS THAT SHE WOULDNT DO THEM.
CHANGE YOUR STAFF MEMBERS BEFORE YOU GET SHUT DOWN.
THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER, I WILL BE DEFFINETLY NOT GOING BACK EVER AGAIN.

Just been there, waited 10 minutes at front counter only to be greeted by rudest woman I have ever met. Used $20. Note to pay for one item only to be told in very grumpy manner “Next time you come in have a smaller note” Was first time for me in this chemist & it will be the last. I said “Thank You” when leaving only to be glared at

Have just stopped by this store and I strongly advise that you should not visit this store if you are an Asian. They just ignored me and replied my rudely while I asked them politely for help with price of some products. I said that I bought some with cheaper price from their other branch then the lady at counter asked me why I bought some and still want to buy more, she asked if I want to stock with an angry look. Oh, if this is the way you do business then just go to hell. You got angry to your customers who want to buy your product? No wonder why there are not so many customer visit this place.

Oh my God! What a rude lady at the counter! Please avoid this place if you can! That woman needs to learn some manners!

I'd leave a 0 stars if I could but 1 star is the lowest you can go. The pharmacy staff (the older gentleman and the older lady) could use with some bedside manner training. Have been going to this pharmacist for years as it is my local and went in the other day to have some documents sighted. The older gentleman (who is the pharmacist) rudely instructs me to go to my usual pharmacist. I told him that this place is my usual pharmacist and he reluctantly sights my documents. Whilst there I even witnessed the older lady talk down to an elderly customer: (Very disappointing and will definitely not be coming back.

Very very nice place and staff is very professional always ready to help in a nice way. Love this place

Great pharmacy friendly staff, Christina one of the staff, she's so nice, always welcoming with a great smile, good vibes. The owner John Chapkoun, a very understanding and great advisor in anything you need to know, he has always the answer you need to know. Theres also a methadone program in the pharmacy with a proper room for it.

Good service and advice by john, keep up with it.few times if they short on my prescription they go out of their way to their other chemist and get it there

I was in there with my mother, a scarved Muslim and she was in pain. She asked a lady with medim brown hair if she could get her some panadol which was behind a counter for some reason. Stupid place to put it. The lady looked at her with disgust and told her she was serving someone else. Mum was so uncomfortable she wanted to leave.
