Thirsty Camel reviews
9The dude working the drive through in the reflector sunnies at 11pm just made my night. Great thrash tunes, best customer service I've had in years (genuinely). Had all 5 randoms in there leaving with a giant grin. Give that legend his own radio show. A+
Thirsty Camel in Coburg is always open later than the other bottle shops in the area when you need a late night refill. And great customer service.
The workers tonight 17/12 were so obviously on drugs. Management might want to look into that. Blonde guy who works at the bottle shop, brown haired dude was from Drums but hanging around with blonde outside
Customer service was 5 stars at 11: 30pm on 15/11/2021. Didn't catch their name, but will return because of this service. Polite and engaging conversation.
Canadian dude rocks with attitude and knowledge. Also their fridges run on 1.2 degrees so drinks are extremely cold. Love it
Zoe looked after us very well in the beer garden today, serenaded us with a bit of Rihanna, all while reminding us to be covid safe. 5 stars.well done Zoe! Maybe it's time to turn that area into a permanent beer garden?
I usually avoid thisrty camel because most places undercut them, but being open on easter i went in, the hospitality of the canadian shop worker working close on easter is the best service i've ever had in a bottl'o, camel didnt have what i wanted so he was able to suggest plenty of similar alternatives highlighting the ones on sale at the cheapest price, as did he for every other customer that i saw come in after me. Give this man a raise or a promotion or both, i will actually purchase from thirsty camel more just for his service.
I had no idea where "thirsty camel" is till I looked at the pic and realized it's the bottle shop drive thru of drums hotel. Strange they have different names.
Surprisingly has a reasonable beer selection to choose from. Although my fondest memory on a xmas day 2015 was when some young sales kid tried to convince me that the 5kg bags of ice out back (which his boss clearly told him to priority sell) were somehow different to the 5kg bags in the drive through lane freezer.
