The windows themselves are absolutely amazing and beyond our expectations, so much so, that we will be fitting out our whole house in the future.
Once again, thank you so much Michael and Steve, who did a great job installing them, but also took pride and great care to not cause any damage and also tidied up and vacuumed the rooms he had done the work in.

The team did a great job of integrating the installation in and amongst all of the other building work that was being undertaken on our home and we love the new windows, stack back sliders and bifold doors that they have installed. The mechanisms are lovely and the quality is excellent. They have transformed our home.

We have lived in our house for 40 years and decided it was time to replace some of our external doors and windows with double glazed units; but we wanted a quality product that was also made in Australia, After lengthy research we decided to go with Thermotek Hi Energy Efficiency, installed by THERMAL DOUBLE GLAZING, Cranbourne Road, Frankston.
We are so pleased with the end result; it has made such a difference to the warmth and comfort of the rooms.
The whole process from start to finish was seamless and excellent. Michael from Thermal Double Glazing, being a builder by trade and not a sales person, didn't give us a hard sell and was helpful in aspects about guiding us on our best options without any pressure. The crew who removed and installed the doors and windows were also excellent. They did an outstanding job and made sure everything was left clean and tidy. They also didn't mind us popping in from time to time to watch progress and were always happy to answer our questions.
We can't recommend the product and company highly enough and would commend them to anyone wanting replacement windows and doors.

I first learned of Thermal Double Glazing when I wandered into Home Innovations in the Power Centre. Given that I was about to make a large financial outlay to my home, I wanted to do my research. I saw the display for Thermal D. G & was impressed by the quality. A call was made to Michael, & a couple of days later he came out to my home to measure & to discuss my options & I immediately felt comfortable. The knowledge & passion Michael has for the product & the advice he gave to me were invaluable. The favourable quote came along with easy to follow detailed drawings.

Michael kept it real with detailed plans and technical information and estimated dates. The install was a month earlier than expected, so a positive change just before the holidays.
I’m writing this on my couch, the tilt and turns wide open and fresh air pouring in, with no bugs. Brighter, cooler and quieter. Steve measured up and installed without a hitch. When I came home, all was clean and tidy with new windows.

The quality of these double glazed windows is what we are most impressed with. The guys removed the old windows and slotted in the new ones with great care and precision- not to mention it was a second story! These windows block out all the sound when closed and allow for consistent air flow when open along with their sleek look and feel.

Michael came out to our house and talked through the options and went through all we needed when we went to the showroom to confirm our selection. No pushy sales techniques, just professional opinion and information. When John, came out to measure, again the service was impeccable. We have been subject to the Covid delays but the communication throughout this time has been timely and reassuring. Finally today was instillation day - the team that came (John +1) were fantastic - they were on time, polite, friendly, and cleaned up completely after themselves - a rarity! Getting windows installed during lockdown is not fun with having to wait, all the delays and restrictions but this mob were great. Communicative, understanding, professional and when it came to it, really quick too!
David and James who installed the frames and windows did a great job. They were really friendly, easy going, very professional and thorough with any clean up. Michael was communicative and worked with us through the lockdown period to ensure we knew what was going on and when they could come after restrictions ended. We couldn't be happier with the result. The frames and windows look amazing and really compliment our little beach side house.
Quick invoicing allowed for quick payments. Done and dusted!

Very professional from start to finish. Turned up on time, quotes were prompt, kept me well informed about when they would.be able to start. The business owners did the work themselves and clearly take pride in what they do. The guys finished the job on schedule, and were very neat when clearing up each day.
The windows and doors fitted look great, and even in this hot summer the house has been a comfortable temperature. The money spent has been well worth it.
You may find cheaper but good luck finding better quality.

I would like to thank Michael and Paul for the fantastic job they did in supplying and installing all the ground floor windows of my home in double glazed uPVC. They set out a schedule and the windows arrived on time but the installation was delayed by unforseen circumstances. But when they started the install, they worked every day for over a week until they had completed the work. I elected to maximize the soundproofing of the glazing by having the outer pane laminated and the inner pane in 6 mm toughened glass. The first thing I noticed after installation was the dramatic reduction of the street noise from passing cars and the silence at night, whereas before the next door neighbours dog would frequently keep us awake. When I was looking at the quotes, Yarra Windows and Doors was the only one where I got a good explanation of the install process and the knowledge that the people who sold me the windows were the ones who would install them. Our home is much more comfortable now that the draughts from the old windows have been eliminated. The insulation of the double paned glass has reduced our cooling and heating needs as well.

These 2 men were honest and hard working. The whole job was delivered as promised and I am very happy with the product. It is always a worry to use something new and through people that you have not had recommended but Michael and his partner provided good references. They don't just sell the job they do it and they are very polite and clean. The whole process went very well and I would definitely recommend that you use these people for this product.

We love our windows. One of the best features is they block out a lot of noise from all the party goers in our street. Paul and Michael are experts about double glazing and were very generous with their time in answering the many questions we had.
