The Yardz reviews
61Went with a large group and we took over the beer garden. Staff amazing and the food was lovely. Recommend this hotel
We had Charli as out waitress, she was excellent! Pleasant to deal with, came and asked how our meals were, She always made sure we had drinks or if we wanted another. Faye trained her so Faye was quiet happy to hear Charli was on point! Well done to you both.
Went for a spontaneous dinner with friends. Tried the Devine corn ribs - they were amazing! Will head back for more sooner rather than later!
Food and drinks were tops appears new operators. Herb and cheese bread was a cob with cheese oozing out. $10 now looks like 2 slices of thin bread with cheese & herbs $10. Total rip off and parmas shrunk and prices up.very ordinary to say the least.
Country style pub. Gets loud. The lady serving us was amazing! There was not a single vegetarian main item! Only have salads for vegetarians. If you are a super hungry vegetarian, you will stay hungry. My friends ordered other dishes and it was fine.
When in Geelong, we always have lunch here. Was a cold wet day, but the fire was going, food was hot and yummy. Can't fault the yardz.
Hi we went there on Mother’s Day the two people behind the bar were so slow and confusing the other staff and weren’t interested in serving people
So disappointed
Went on a busy Mother's Day. Service was friendly but slow, which was understandable. Hard to beat their $18 Sunday Parmi deal with several different options. Parmis were a decent size & nicely cooked. Look forward to coming back.
A charming Australian pub vibe, complete with pool table and stools and tables. Great ambience in the main area and staff were lovely and friendly. I had the basic parmi (not on parmi day (sunday) and it was pretty good. Not mind-blowing, but pretty good. Will have to come back for the world parmi menu on a Sunday- it looks grouse. Aching to give this place 5 stars but will wait to see how the English parmi is.
Very disappointing. In a party of 7, only one meal was satisfactory. Service was very ordinary.
Disappointing quality of food. Party of 6 and was very underwhelmed with meals. Grilled Barramundi was so thin & dry, I wasn’t even sure it was barramundi! Salt & pepper squid was all chips and 6 pieces of squid, chicken schnitzel dry and overcooked and chicken scallopini also only had a handful of chicken pieces.
What a fantastic place. I had a burger and it was so delicious.my partner had the butcher's block and he was also extremely satisfied. Staff were very friendly. Will definitely be back again.
Delicious food and beverages.the staff great friendly and have an enormous amount of patience. A great night out.
We liked The Yardz a lot. Great music gives a relaxing and happy vibe. Service was pleasant and efficient. A good honest local. Food was delicious. We used the menu but will try the specials board next time.
Great meals & service and good prices. Would highly recommend, especially for their Parmi specials on Sunday.
Fantastic pub. After initially getting our booking wrong they totally went out of their way to seat us and give excellent service. Grat pub food.fabulous Parma deals.goid house reds a great experience worth the drive from Melbourne.
Yep top gun living da dream, clearly I'd like find at date like a real live female that talks walks & goes to take to YARDS looking for a date, please help a poor man out
Arguably the best parmi in Geelong, great beer and always friendly service. Definitely a go to on a Sunday afternoon.
Good sizes meal, wonderful friendly staff. Great pub to have a family meal. Rare find. Every Sunday is parmigiana night.
Arrived, ordered and then waited 1and a half hours to be told that there had been a problem and our order hadn't been put through. But then to our disbelief we were told the kitchen was closed and we couldn't have our meals. At this time the kitchen was still sending out meals to tables.
I know mistakes happen but to then not fix the problem was unprofessional and just appalling service.
Will never return.
