THE WURRUK MOTEL

BEDBUGS KEEP AWAY! This place was a nightmare. When we arrived I immediately noticed that it wasn't clean (spiders and dusty) but I had prepaid for the room and was only there for one night. At night I noticed bugs on the wall and after closer inspection realised they were bedbugs. I tried calling reception to demand another room but no one answered. We made the decision to leave and drove all the way to Melbourne CBD at midnight because it was too late to get a room elsewhere in Sale. We got to Melbourne at 3: 30am with two young kids. An absolute nightmare! The next day I contacted the motel explained what had happened and demanded a refund. They asked for evidence, so I sent photos and video footage. A refund was issued.
Also, WiFi didn't work and when I tried calling reception about it no one answered.

They still charge you even if you cancel because of an emergancy
They charge you extra price on top of what you pay for a room.

Also website is not there website it is a scam website that puts a virus on ur phone

Bathroom has new update, the rest is old, dusty, and the carpet smells. Bed was an old spring mattress, not comfortable.

Room in an annex building with a view of the parking lot although we should have had a view of the patio. Only 1 glass in the breakfast kit. Acceptable for a night of passage, not the impression of a 3 star

The room had mice no cutlery had to eat with the 2 teaspoons
Cost $115 for a room with mice keeping us up all night im terrified of them not a good night sleep would not recommend

Nice partially refurbished rooms. Lovely new bathrooms. Was quiet even though the place was fully booked for Christmas.

Great location, so close to sale. The reception person was not as friendly as I would of though/hoped. The room is very nice. The bathroom is fabulous and the free WiFi is good quality. Absolutely wonderful place to stay.

Very friendly staff and it's where it all stop. The room is super super dirty, cobwebs everywhere in the room and very dusty. There are molds all around the bathroom floor. The carpet has black stain marks and the bed linens are smelly. The outdoor area is so neglected, grasses are not mowed, and some of the lights do not work. The pool water is super cloudy, full with bugs and algae. The kitchen is disgusting. All the photos posted on the website are deceiving. Would not recommend at all.

Friendly staff. Mary was wonderful, rooms were clean, only negative for me was the carpet. Needs vinyl flooring.but other then that enjoyed our stay.

The owners were great! They greeted our toddler with a big smile!

Very cheap, very clean, lovely bathroom, comfy bed, nice staff, outlook onto a lovely garden area. Can't fault it! Will be back.

Very friendly staff, gave me ample coffee, milk and toiletries when I asked. Soft towels, nice dooner, soft pillows comfy mattress.

Very glad we stayed. The room was very clean and had been renovated with a modern bathroom and a large comfortable bed.we had a king suite. Good night sleep and a hot shower with plenty of water. The staff were friendly. Excellent value.
