The Woods Point Historic Petrol Station reviews
7Some eclectic history and iconic remote town. Visit the Post-office General store it's quaint and quirky but down to earth people. Please support the local business community and it will be there when you and others come back.
NO PETROL available at this petrol station (deactivated 10 years ago), quaint photo opportunity though.
Don't forget to fill up like we did before venturing out here.
Amazing little spot with friendly locals Will have to bring the family and stay the night next time.
Good place to take a break from driving through some very pretty Victoria countryside and have a picnic in the local park or visit the local pub for their highly acclaimed menu. Interesting local historical museum has a lot of information, hands on displays and memorabilia and a very well informed and friendly guide.
Hmmmm! A tad hard to rate this since it's just a building and doesn't do much except stand there. However, it is an intriguing building to marvel at since it is a glimpse into Australia of the past, as is the small town of Wood's Point. A very quaint, rural town tucked away in the heart of regional Victoria. The drive to this town requires a sturdy vehicle since a good few kilometres of the roads in and out of Wood's Point are gravel, but they do take you through some beautiful countryside. If you like driving and love the Victorian countryside Wood's Point is probably worth a visit. Pack a picnic too as there are some lovely spots to stop for a bite to eat.
Picturesque little town, friendly people, great pub meals and heaps of stuff to explore locally
Awesome little historic town lots of walks and cool things to see. Definitely worth stopping here.
