The Winery Kitchen reviews
73Very disappointed in this place. Had a family lunch there today and it felt like we were sitting in an abandoned house back yard. Small courtyard grass was knee high and overgrown with weeds. Service lady was not interested in her job. Food was just ok but massively overpriced and extremely small servings. Would strongly recommend looking else where until they lift there game. To add as a winery. I couldn’t see 1 vine.
A very friendly customer service always with a smile
great atmosphere
family oriented
the food is always cooked fresh & perfect & absolutely delicious
I would highly recommend this restraunt to anyone
if you are in town or just passing by please drop in & try their amazing woodfired pizzas or anything on their menu you will be pleasently suprised & I would definitely go back again
Great little gourmet stop whe heading up to the High Country. Delicious food and friendly staff!
The most amazing woodfired pizzas can be found at this little Seymour Gem
The staff are also very accommodating to any changes etc to pizza requests.
The arancini is also incredible here too!
Definitely our no. 1 stop in Seymour.would happily travel over an hour to get there too
Food was good but we weren't able to buy a take away bottle of wine because we had already paid our bill.not sure why when it is a winery
Oh boy, the food was beyond delicious, the atmosphere was great, staff could be more friendly but some of them were quite nice.
Best Italian restaurant outside of Melbourne in my opinion. Family run, staff are great, food is always excellent.
Amazing service! Missed a pasta in my order but then drove it out to me and through in a free desert. Amazing service and amazing food! Highly highly recommend!
Absolute unexpected gem, we had the most delicious dinner. Both food & wine menus were fantastic. Service was excellent
We were driving through to Shepparrton, and we stopped at this quaint little Restaurant called the winery kitchen, I had the lamb ragu, and my partner had the steak, really really nice, cooked to perfection, we also had dessert Pannacota served with cereal icecream, we definitely recommend this lovely little restaurant and we will definitely be back
Good good, service slow. They should probably get some lighting out in the car park so you don’t need to use your phone as a torch at night.
Terrible food, very poor effort for such a highly rated restaurant. Sauce may as well have been from a can, possibly even better. The vegetables were poorly prepared and seemed like they were from frozen.
This place easily could have been shown on Gordon's Kitchen Nightmares it was that bad.
Would never go back.
We stopped in on our way home as it appeared to be the only restaurant in Seymour that had gluten free pasta and boy were we glad we did! Absolutely delicious pasta, the gluten free pasta was amazing we’re still raving about it! So yummy we’ll definitely be back if we’re ever in the area again!
Food is delicious, fast service, frenly enviornment, varieties of drink with cocktail n mocktail
Great to see this fabulous restaurant back up and running after suffering significant damage in the recent devastating storm and flood events. The menu is reduced while they continue to recover but didn’t disappoint. The food and service was fabulous. The salumi board is amazing, the desserts superb and the wood fired pizzas are the best we’ve ever tasted. The Sunday we were there the staff apologised for a blocked drain that occurred during service and was causing some run off across the grass onto a path near the toilets, but they were constantly mopping it and it wasn’t an issue. I walked through the area whilst the staff were cleaning and it certainly wasn’t sewerage as suggested by a previous review! We travelled from interstate and can’t wait to return and support this wonderful family owned business and their continued recovery.
The staff and food are absolutley phenomenonal. This has always been a staple restaurant for me, and I couldn't be glader seeing the business back on their feet after being effected by the floods. Keep up the good work, guys!
Beautiful Itlaian inspired cuisine! The weekly specials were so creative and the desserts were amazing! The pizza was hand made and was the best I've ever tasted (can't go back to Domino's now). They've done so well getting back on their feet after the floods, it's definitely the best restaurant in the area!
Pre booked function of 40-50 people, outdoor seating, lawn two foot high, sewage bubbling up and running back into main cafe, toilet and under our tables. Other customers dry reaching from the odder an extremely disappointing experience. Felt for the staff but no sight from management at all. Will not return to this venue.
The Winery Kitchen is always my goto for any event or occasion. Their food, service and atmosphere is second to none. They rotate great specials often from cocktails to deserts! Plenty of range for vegetarians! I could not commend them more!
Authentic Italian food in a rustic setting. Good size portions, reasonably priced, excellent service.
