Large and lovely area, my grandparents live here. The houses aren’t too small and can still live quite independently

The staff at The Lodge, part of the care facility on-site, are exceptional. Their kind and tender attitude towards the residents is truly heart-warming. They are very careful to follow COVID-19 procedures and do more than is required.

Do not care about their clients, only care about money very, very disappointing and very, very sad way to operate with very vulnerable clients in their care

When you get old and can’t be on your own I guess this would be a nice place to be.
The buildings themselves have been around for a while and ageing although they are clean and tidy.
The staff are friendly and accommodating, I assume they are the same when we aren’t visiting.
All in all a pleasant atmosphere and plenty of staff around to help.

This is a not for profit retirement village in Frankston South. For full details you really need to visit their website which is user friendly and will answer nearly every question you have. If you need more do phone their lovely sales lady who is a wonderful help
The village is large and well served with visiting doctors, pathology on site, a croquet court, a bowling green, several libraries, a gymn, amazing 24 hour nurses who go more than the extra mile, visiting hair dressers and many opportunities to indulge in art and crafts, card games and exercise classes There is a cafe on site and a shop for basic necessities.
Why only 4 stars? The older units do not have garages nor easy vehicular access and although there is a bus to Karingal and Bayside, you really need a car to get around the area.
