Really great rooms. Walking distance to food and shops. Great lock up undercover car garage

The living area upon arrival was filthy unfortunately. Like it was not cleaned after a week of family use. Finger marks everywhere and food included on seats. Rubbish bin was full from previous use. Clothes airer was rusty.

These apartments are conveniently located in Port Fairy and are very well equipped with all facilities needed for a stay in Port Fairy.

Made the booking with them over the phone and suggested I'd call back shortly to confirm another night additional to this original booking. Called back, to confirm, got a different receptionist who charged $50.00 more for the same room. When I asked about the additional charge I was told, "We have many different rates on different websites for the same room, " and that was that. No other explanation at all. Left me very curious because I didn't use a website, I booked over the phone directly. This type of thing is extremely annoying as it was a substantial amount discrepancy. It's not the safest (upstairs) place for toddlers.

No air flow in the rooms, sweat box.
Over priced.
Lack of attention to detail in cleaning - hair in the bed, squished bug/blood on ceiling above bed.
No air con in bedroom.
Entitled guests park across garage so unable to be used.
Emailed feedback and questions and no response.
Appaling customer service.
Worst accommodation I've ever stayed in.
Would never stay here again.

The location was great with plenty amenities and beautiful beaches near by.
The rooms though were below standard hygiene requirements with broken window (creaked/banging noise due to wind), dirty carpets, mould/urine smelling bedsheets, dusty furniture with sticky appliances, balcony chairs completely covered with spider webs and to top it all NO ROOM SERVICE/CLEANING for a stay of 3 nights over $600.

Cannot believe some of the reviews on here. Our stay was amazing. 2 bed apartment was spotless and luxurious. Real home from home. Could not fault it. We have been travelling Australia’s from UK for nearly 5 weeks and this was up there as one of our favourites. Reception staff were fab nothing was too much trouble. Lovely quite spot but quick walk to everywhere. We will be back next year and stay longer next time.

The best thing about our stay was the car port and the staff were friendly and the location was good but the room was not what we expected it to be hard bed the wifi connection to the room was very poor our couch smelled like spew and even after reporting to management still nothing was done about it there was a bussing noise coming from somewhere above our room that was very annoying and the service of your room was very average on check out I voiced my concerns and was told they would pass on to the managers all in all probably
Wouldn’t stay here again

Great location and friendly staff, the rooms were very clean on arrival and the staff were willing to assist throughout the week when needed. The courtyard in the downstairs apartment could have done with some upkeep but overall excellent. Air-cons in the bedrooms would also be great for those hot summer nights.

Rooms are not cleaned properly.bathroom needed a good scrub.bench tops dusty and the beds were simply not made properly…. Triple sheeting a bed takes a bit of time and this place was rushed over … not good value for over a 700 dollar for 2 nights …. Ugly scaffolding not removed ….

Upon arrival there was no booking? After waiting around for approx 20mins listening to conversation between reception and management we finally got an apartment. Our booking had been cancelled by a member of staff! For no reason! There were no rooms left because they had painters in refurbishing. We were allocated an apartment within same location as painters but was fine. These are serviced apartments. In the 3 days we were there our apartment was not serviced. The water is terrible so l had to go to reception and replenish the water bottles. After two days we went to reception to get clean towels and was asked to bring the dirty ones back and put them in the laundry? Which we did! On departure l dropped the keys to reception and it reeked of cigarette smoke, disgusting. Location was great but never again worse service l have ever experienced. We were not sent this survey to complete, so l chased it up, only to be told "we do not send surveys for cancelled bookings". On that note l confirmed we stayed there hence further checking l received this survey! We had been looking forward to our time away in Port Fairy as it had been cancelled a few times due to Covid. What a let down.

Beware! Tried to cancel a room less than 1 hour after booking, for a stay not commencing until the following day, and they try to charge 100% cancellation fee! So you lose everything! Wouldnt listen, unhelpful, uncoperative, stay away!

The twin room apartment was huge, clean, and very well appointed. Service was excellent, and location is central to everything. Looking forward to coming back already.

We had a booking but due to my husband and I both getting covid I had hoped they would let us change dates with notice, they however refused and kept our money. So disappointing on so many levels so would never recommend.

We notified both the hotel directly and the booking agent 6 days out that we had tested positive for Covid and were not permitted by law to travel. It was a really unfortunate situation outside of our control. We asked both the hotel and the booking agent if we could change our booking (to be clear we did not ask for a refund as we were still planning to travel just not when we were incredibly ill and not to mention infectious with Covid). The hotel were not open to even discussing this when I contacted them directly referring back to their blanket policy not permitting cancellations. She told me to refer it back to the booking agent. The booking agent tried to assist us as they were aware travel insurance providers are now excluding Covid and contacted the hotel on our behalf. It was really disappointing that the hotel was not open to moving our booking. All other accomodation providers for this week offered a refund and were incredibly flexible and understanding. A pretty poor business decision on their part as we are now rebooking our trip and it’s for additional days but it will not be at this provider so I guess their decision not to change our 1 night stay has lost them a much longer booking and the other 2 providers will benefit. I’m sure they will just fall back on their non refundable policy - this review is simply to warn others that there are other far more flexible accomodation providers in this region. DO NOT BOOK HERE - inflexible and poor customer service. I’m so glad I only booked 1 night with them.

The apartment clean but certainly not spotless. King Bed two beds joined together and I have never slepted on a harder bed in my life. The heating did not work on our first night, fixed the next day. Had to leave after 2 of our 4 night stay as my daughter had food poisoning and insufficient hygienic items to take care of her in the unit. Refund request denied by property. Would not consider staying here again.

The amenity is good and the location, in amongst the cafes/restaurants, is ideal. The lack of cleanliness was surprising.

Had a lovely night at The Victoria Apartments. Room was upgraded for a very affordable price. Very clean and tidy with modern furniture and gave a very homely feel!

Lovely well appointed apartment. Check in was quick and easy. The apartments are set up well, although there is very little room for suitcases. The bed is very comfortable and huge! The doona was lovely and warm, and the latex pillows very comfortable. It was awesome to have a lock up garage for the car. We weren't disturbed by anyone, which was great. The accommodation is within an easy stroll of pretty much everywhere in Port Fairy which is lovely.
While the shower itself is great, the shower door is poorly designed with water almost covering the bathroom floor. The bathmat consequently ended up soaked through. (Perhaps more mats could be provided to help mop up the water.) Also, the extraction fan was not very efficient, taking ages for the mirror to clear.
We would definitely recommend this to our friends and if we come back to Port Fairy we'd stay here again.
