The best fish and chip shop in my opinion!
We get a piece of special flake each almost every week since going there a few years ago.
The fried dim Sims are also my favourite, so crispy.
Not once has there been any problems with the food or the service.
I always ring shop and place my order and they tell you how long it will take to cook.
Staff are friendly
We've been passing plenty of fish & chip shops over time to get to this, our favourite Friday take out. However the price of our usual order has risen by $10 over the last 6 months and therefore no longer represents good value given the lengthy drive to get there. The final straw this week was missing items from our pack, a miserly portion of chips and tiny mussels priced $1.40 each. Sadly it's time to move on but thanks for being so good for so long.
I happened upon this place for the first time several months ago when attending the post office in the same strip, and I have been buying my meals there at least monthly ever since. The fish in this shop is very generously portioned, and always delicious. I can vouch for the flake and the whiting, I prefer fried (nice and crunchy) but one of my family members has the grilled flake. Since my first order, I have chosen to telephone my orders through, and it is always ready for pickup within 15 to 20 minutes. The large garden salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, green capsicum, onion and dressing) is very refreshing and prepared on the spot. Very friendly proprietor. A pleasure to order from there.
Always the go to when we want fish & chips! And the pineapple fritters are soo good
This shop is my go to for great fish and chips. Owner/cook is always so friendly despite clearly being under the pump and the fish is always great (I get mine grilled and it’s always been delicious). My partner also highly rates their souvlakis.
