The Town Roaster Cafe & Specialty Coffee Roaster reviews
22Really nice coffee, very friendly staff and lightning fast service. The roasts are very well done and three coffee very well prepared. Highly recommended.
Great coffee. Small selection of delicious cakes but I come for the coffee. The best coffee in the central highlands that I've found. And I've tried a lot of places. Still the best coffee in the central highlands.
Really great cafe to stop and resupply on your way through! Coffee is delicious and there's lots of otherfood and beverage options too.
Great coffee, has a good selection of different single origins to choose from. Great service as well.
Favourite coffee spot in Kyneton. Love the food love the coffee love the environment and atmosphere. The staff are always lovely and smiling. I wish they were open past 2pm as I work in Kyneton and do find most food are closed after 3pm and there’s not much around for those who work until 5/5: 30pm. Do also wish a basic ham and cheese toastie was available and a bigger cup available for the ice chai latte!
Great coffee. Small selection of delicious cakes but I come for the coffee. The best coffee in the central highlands that I've found. And I've tried a lot of places.
This place baffled me and my mate.we had to go to the counter to be served, the chai we received was poorly mixed and tasted off.we ordered a toastie and porridge, the porridge looked like it came from a packet and the toastie was bland but that wasn't too bad.the strangest thing was that I was given a knife but no fork for my toastie, just a knife wrapped in a napkin, not sure if this was a mistake or just another attempt to be trendy like with the lack of handle on some coffee mugs.
This place started with such promise but it’s gone down hill badly. The coffee is kinda fine (albeit a tad pricey), but the rudeness and sheer misery of the staff is unbelievable. I was there this morning and the two young hipster types looked like they were at a funeral, not a smile, not a thank you, barely a word - you can keep your wanky coffee TR’s, I won’t be coming back!
Great cafe, nice first origin coffee, excellent staff, clean and inviting. It’s worth stopping in for a great coffee and one of their delicious toasties.
Really nice people, great rotating coffee menu and probably the best barista in town. Can't ask for much more.
This place is phenomenal. They’re soooo nice and the coffee is delicious as is the smell of coffee beans roasting!
It’s only open during the weeks so it’s my special treat whenever I’m not working during the week for some reason. Highly rate this place!
Probably best coffee in town (not criticism of other places, many are good, Town Roaster are just an inch ahead). Beans also excellent.
Great coffee. A nicely bright and bo-ho decor with friendly ladies running the establishment. The coffee was robust but smooth with caramel and chocolatey notes. Absolutely your first coffee stop in Kyneton!
The staff are very helpful and happy to accommodate your needs the coffee is great food healthy and delicious!
Look.this is how it is - I would walk over HOT coals for a good Coffee. I mean l know my beans - this man has a grasp of the medium.it is the BEST Coffee in Town. The Toasted Sandwiches are to die for. No hesitation in giving the establishment the Jungle Jim seal of approval
The house blend is great, bold flavour, good strength and prepared well.
The single origin changes every day and had since great selections with unique flavours.
Furniture and decor is trendy, bit there's little to no music which makes for a somewhat strangely empty ambiance.
5/5 coffee though.
I really wanted to like this place - it looks cool, smelled good as they were roasting coffee and was quite busy. Unfortunately we were served very disappointing flat whites.
Has its own ambiance. I like a hot coffee and I find it difficult to get here. Service ok but staff a bit remote.
Love the "seriousness" of their coffee
very serious!
good bean selection for takeaway
usually has a single on
nowhere else in Kyneton has a roaster and the guy roasting is the owner, barista, and chief cook and bottle wash (as is his wife)
just off the main drag
go find 'em!
