I attended two counselling sessions here. I felt okay with the first session, though something felt off to me (nonetheless I decided not to judge too quickly and try for a second round!)

In our second session, I found myself bored, feeling awkward and disengaged. The counsellor failed to pick up on this, or ask whether I understood what she was saying. A lot of what was said made little sense and was very circular. Towards the end of the session, we had nothing to talk about- so she gave me travel tips for an upcoming trip to Tasmania- not really what I paid for!

I have many psychologist friends in my network, and they definitely said this is below the standard expected in the field.

Also, don't be fooled, the appointments are set for 1 hour, but you only really get 35-40 minutes of attention.

Nice looking place. Terrible counselling skills. For a huge price, you would think they would be quite professional and knowledgeable. Better just to find a friend to talk to.

Prepare to be judged

I had around 15 sessions with Dr Vas in their Richmond and Northcote locations. He is very knowledgeable about how to address my issue. Helpful reception staff too. Thanks a lot.

Dr Nic Serpesedes is an absolute legend! Been going here for a few months now and he has helped me a lot! I highly recommend him!

They don't care. I went here and spoke to Dr Rose Bett. Well, she talked alot more than I got to in the session. She was too quick to judge my situation, then gave unrealistic advice, given the circumstances I advised her I was in and it was very general advice that I could read in any common gossip magazine column. I left feeling worse than when I arrived. Dr Bett said she would follow up with some reading to do via email, which was never sent. I filled in the Contact Us form on the web page to provide feedback, got an auto generated "our client contact team will get in touch with you as soon as possible" but I'm still waiting three weeks later. Would not recommend to anyone unfortunately.

I dealt with two practitioners at this clinic (CBD) and I am disappointed to say the very least after having attended just one appointment with each practitioner. First I saw Alex Fluker-Smith who was friendly after my first session but things quickly derailed when I didn't show up to my next appointment - which I was sure was for the following week. When I expressed my concern that I believed there had been some kind of confusion/mix up which may not have been entirely my fault, I was not believed, nor given the benefit of the doubt and charged $100. I was not entitled to the courtesy of having the matter looked into which I had requested. I also had issues with reception and customer service when on three occasions I was advised my GP referrals were not on file when they had already been sent. I chased it up once with my GP at the clinic's request. I was then told again the referrals were not on file. This time I refused to chase it up knowing the referrals were on file and my GP would charge me. On both occasions, it was found to be the clinic's error that they had the referrals all along, yet I received no acknowledgement of this or apology. I then saw William Soo and found him to be highly judgmental and negligent. I would not recommend this place at all. Terrible service and patients are not treated with respect.

Horrendous experience. I’ve been a long term client at the three seas, faithfully, for around 100 sessions there. Reception is horrible. I’ve made my complaint to the VIC health commissioner. I sometimes couldn’t book appointments for a few years straight, despite I had every reason to do so. The three seas is an irresponsible practice, have reported to APHRA for violation of client’s rights in multiple matters. The owner is ignorant also, basically the whole team, when I needed help, I was left harmed even more. Do not waste your money. I went there for therapy, and I’m getting worse. I was in crisis, was hospitalized and still am and didn’t changed. When I was crying in therapy, the therapist immediately ran away from me. She showed me how I’m a monster. This has happened quite several times I was neglected. No empathy, no sympathy, no respect, judgmental also, which she hasn’t even met the basic requirement of being a psychologist, that must be filled with kindness and respect, at the very least.

I've been seeing shrinks for over ten years and I've finally found someone who is unbelievably gifted at being a clinical psychologist, Nic Serpesedes. The building itself is great too, staff are kind, they even have a piano in the waiting room. I have no idea why the ratings are low, I suppose everyone has had their own experience.

I have had the worst experience here. When I first called to make a booking, I was put on hold for 15 minutes. They then called me back and I got a booking in the next 6 weeks. During this time, I was contacted 5 times to reschedule my booking. The 6th time, I told them that I do not wish to proceed and to please cancel my booking. I was then called again 3 days later, to reschedule the same appointment, as they had forgotten to take me out of the system. Worst experience ever!

I have no idea where I would be if wasn't for the care I have been receiving. I am very grateful. I highly recommend.

I approached psychologist Robert van de Berg regarding my son being extensively bullied at school. The consultation with my son did not discuss bullying or peer group issues, only how his mother had a psychiatric disorder, was delusional, and how best to 'manage mother'. My son would have truly benefitted from adept counselling about his experiences. This psychologist is a negligent menace - do not go near him. That mean little mouth of his says it all.

What a waste of time.had a "marriage counsellor" by the name of Trish. Very one sided. Within the first 50 mins of our session her findings were that i was depressed. Dont waste ur time or money.
