Excellent service, friendly administration staff and professional therapists. So easy to get started, they make the process simple.

If you are a bulk billing client (normally the people in most need of support) be prepared to wait and also have others prioritised over you. I wasn't given a time a could have an appointment or how long the wait list is. Just that I'll be notified when they have time for a bulk billed appointment.

The best experience I've ever had with a psychologist. I have been seeing Dimitri for three sessions now. He always pointed the core deep down issue and give me very insightful strategies. Not only that, I am building a professional relationship with him, and he is very attentive for my needs. Highly recommended it to you if you have something in life that you need a professional with you to walk you through.

I called to say that I'm running 30 minutes late and to see if it's worth rescheduling. She said it's fine and I could come. Came and the counseller advised that I have 10 minutes left for my appointment. When I was about to cancel the appointment, he said that he has time left for a full session.

Despite reviews I still gave this place a try psychologist was great booked for a second session weeks in advance they claimed they will send a text to remind me of my session only for me to completely miss my session and get told I have to pay 120. Partly my fault for not putting it in my phone but a steep price for anyone especially when Medicare is covering the session just a money grab

I have been seeing my psychologist Dr Honeyman for around 2 years now. I looked for a psychologist near me, found The Talk Shop and checked out her bio on their website, then asked my doctor to refer me. She has been amazing and is the first psychologist that I have felt comfortable with. Prior to Dr Honeyman, I had seen 6 other people within 10 years.
I have referred a friend onto my psychologist and another to The Talk Shop for a male psychologist. Both of my people have been very impressed.
A text, as well as an email is sent a day before your appointment to confirm or cancel. If your appointment is a Monday, the text is sent on Saturday. Which is really handy when you forget the time of the appointment.
I do agree that the call centre/reception staff can be hit and miss with their customer service skills, or lack there of. With one girl being quite blunt and dismissive, and having that kind of customer service for such a sensitive area of work isn't great at all. Although that was a while ago and I haven't experienced that behavior since, so I am unsure if she is still there or not.
I don't understand why people gave 1 star because of the call centre, for the most part the ratings should reflect on the psychologists themselves.but each their own.

They don't even deserve the 1 star rating. Receptionist I spoke with via email was extremely unhelpful and unaccommodating. They honestly do not have the mental or emotional capacity it takes for this kind of job. They completely shut me down when I asked to see someone of colour as that's what I'm comfortable with. Terrible customer service.
