The Store Deans Marsh reviews
32Welcoming environment with plentiful parking and seating indoors and out. Local produce and gifts. Beautiful flat white not overly strong not bitter. Toasted beef sandwich was large and tasty.
Steer clear of this place. The food is off, the staff are awful and it's extremely expensive. The coffee is $7.50 for a large and its weak, burning hot and undrinkable. There is something seriously wrong with this place. Save yourself the money and go to Lorne or Birregurra.
Amazing roast set menu put on by the team at the Store for Easter Sunday. The kids had fun and we will definitely making this a yearly tradition
Appalling, judgemental attitude from young staff about our family dog who was anxiously barking while he was walked down the street. Family members getting coffee recieved a barrage of criticism from staff and customers. I wouldn't go in with a crying baby or child with special needs as those staff seemed intolerant. Ruined our day.
Awesome food and a great range of local produce, essential items and cute gifts/souvenirs. Menu had an inclusive range and plenty of dining areas.
An older lady served me and I asked her nicely if she was able to fill up my water bottle and she said there is a tap out the back.the tap she was referring to was a garden hose.very unhygienic and not polite.

All I can say is " it's a good thing I don't live local " Out of the 7 days in a week I would eat here 7 days and twice on Sunday. Counter staff were very friendly which was pleasant after the long drive. The service was fantastic and the food was more than worth the aforementioned long drive. Will happily do it all again.very soon!
I really like everything about this place is a very quaint little store and the food was awesome.
Excellent variety of food, staff friendly, great coffee and cake, lots of inside seating area, will be back
We found this Quaint corner store in Deans Marsh after going for our random drives. Coffee did not disappoint. Thank you
Delicious lunch and very friendly staff. Was so good yesterday we came back for lunch today. Steak sandwich was lovely, sausage rolls tasty and the lemon crumble slice was so good we had to get more to take home for later. They even made our puppy dog feel welcome as we enjoyed our goodies in the sunshine.
We travel down to Skenes Creek 3 or 4 times a year for a weekly stay, but on the return journey we usually travel from S K straight to Moriac then on to Melbourne, but this time we came via the GOR and up Benwerrin and decided to stop at The Store at Deans Marsh for coffee and cake and so glad we did.great food and atmosphere, regardless to say on our next stay at Skenes Creek, we'll be making the slight detour to The Store for lunch, as I'm quite partial to a steak sandwich or a home made beef pie.
We had a wonderful breakfast stop here! We lazed and lounged in the sun and drank our beautiful strong coffee. The fruit toast is amazing and the cooked breakfast looked scrummy (food envy when we saw our neighbours meals). My daughter scoffed two sausage rolls. Just beautiful service and food.
Tried this place a few times as we live nearby. Unfortunately after several attempts to have an enjoyable coffee I have given up. Not a friendly word from the owners or staff. Would understand it if the coffee was good and they were busy. But its quiet and there's something seriously amiss here.
A great place to stop for coffee and cakes. Dog friendly seating outdoors. Gluten free options available. Recommended.
Best meat pies I’ve had! Not to mention the steak sanga. Also sells cool little knick knacks like home made soaps. Loved chatting to Dale- a highlight of our ride
OMG - The salads looked so good and they were delicious! Lots of scrummy house made lunch options here.
Great store with all the basics. Delicious homemade pies 10/10 tried some of their generic pies 3/10
Place is currently up for sale, friendly staff, very good at implementing their COVIDSafe plan!
