The Spotted Owl

As I am the local age care support group member, we were with a group of 4 elder buddies on the weekday. The service team was lack of empathy and lack of care towards to elder people. Talk over them in the conversation while the person was asking the location of toliet, showing the impatient facial expression towards with 81 years old buddy. The buddy felt judged and reflected to us that they are bothering service person, where is the effective communication? Please remember you will be thankful that you can grow old one day, please respect others is a major thing in the F&B industry, to the management, as we had the incident report on the person name and position, please evaluate and give them enough training and support for the front of house staffs, educating them to recognise with the respect is very important to not only older people but also people who are vulnerable.

I love the spotted owl. I have never had a bad meal from them whether it was take away or dine in. The staff are all lovely and friendly and the food is delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and I would totally recommend if you are ever in Sunbury

Today, I had the Sushi Bowl and.wow! It was amazing! The flavour, aroma and, everything about the Sushi Bowl was.great!

This is a pleasant cafe in the centre of town. The coffee is good and our breakfasts were absolutely excellent. We sat outside, but inside looked nice.

First going the other day, no expectations. The food was great, the staff are friendly.def will go back.

Our table outside was very pleasant and allowed us to bring our dog. Food was yummy and reasonably priced.

This was an amazing place when it was just opened, it's still pretty decent. Mostly loud families, loud groups of older women; if you want a quiet place to eat breakfast I wouldn't recommend.
Food is amazing, and they have all inclusive options. Desserts are good but mostly dry slices or healthy alternatives.

I'll admit I ordered very simple, eggs on toast. But it was disappointing, 2 eggs on 1 piece of hard dry toast, not even a hint of butter on the toast. For $12 I thought it would have been at least 2 pieces of toast. The hot chocolate however was delicious. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was nice.

Top 5 of smacked avo that I ever had. Very well balanced. Highly recommended if you hang out in the area.

Nice service, decent coffee (but small) and meals that are ok. I had the beef burger and chips. The burger tasted like it was cooked from frozen and was tough and there were only about a dozen chips on the plate. My partner got the scrambled eggs which were light and fluffy but lacked any real flavour.

Despite hospo struggles you see in other places, this place seems to have still kept it alive! Coffee is good, staff are polite and friendly and food is lovely. Keep doing what you're doing folks

I ordered off menu log multiple times, and everything single time, the coffee has been perfection & the food has been hot, tasteful & satisfying. Thank you The Spotted Owl. All I wish (not a bad thing) is that you opened earlier as I start work early & you aren’t open otherwise I’d be there everyday! Brilliant service. Thank you again

We were pretty disappointed in our first visit and won’t return. The person serving us was helpful and friendly but sadly the food is just not at the same level. Expensive for a bland burger and overdone okonomiyaki that was a chore to eat.

Inside the restaurant was pretty crowded and overall quite busy. Sitting area inside and outside. Table service available and pay at the counter. Toilets available. Don’t think you could get a wheelchair or stroller in the inside sitting area.

Excellent value for some delicious food. Service was exceptionally fast and staff were lovely. No complaints.

I found the menu interesting and my meal delicious. If you live in Melbourne, it's definitely worth taking a weekend drive for breakfast here

Today we waited 40 minutes for our meal, my latte was cold and my sister’s cappuccino who asked for extra hot was cold. Table water was warm and our glasses had lipstick on them & not washed properly and I was charged an extra $1 on the bill! Our hot drinks came with a waiter with no mask on! We were not able to get a waiter to report this but at the end when I paid abs passed this information overwhelmed the waitress just shrugged her shoulders! Not impressed at all

Too pricey. Shouldn't advertise as a breakfast lunch cafe. More just breakfast as they close too early for lunch. Food was ok. Would I go back - No

Got the breakfast burger delivered by menu log. Gooood feed and coffee was great. Good work guys

Had breakfast here with my wife on Wednesday and we were both very impressed. Coffee was great, temp and flavour
I ate the Toasted Muesli and my wife had the Chia Bowl. Great presentation and thoroughly enjoyed the meals. Would highly recommend!

I’ve used these guys several times now and they just couldn’t be more helpful. To help me keep in touch with people from overseas during lockdown, they have made up orders of off-menu items and delivered birthday boxes of fresh tasty goodness. They even ordered in a bespoke birthday cake and delivered on the special day.

Nothing has been too much trouble. 11/10
