The Sporting Globe Bar & Grill

Haven eaten here a couple of times before and always order the mixed platter, but today was a bit dissapointing as the food on the platter did not seem the same as before.
The bbq chicken nibbles were dry, the calamari and onion rings came out cold, and I paid15% extra for the public holiday.

Good place to watch sports and enjoy a good atmosphere. I would say that having to move people out of the smokers area to eat food sucks but sucks even more when some people say they don't want to move and the staff let them stay there. We had to change to a smaller table where we were cramped to eat our food and the people next to us got to stay. Other than that, great place to Goto

Food is pretty good and they have specials everyday.
Sometimes there is a bit of a wait on food and it seems like they are understaffed. Generally, pretty decent to go to when catching up with friends. Also, the heaters outside are amazing.

I'm here almost every week, absolutely love the food and the service from all staff is always great. Special shout out to Reni! I would highly recommend this establishment and so far the best location out of any other Sporting Globe.

The food and atmosphere is great, the wraps and burgers are to high quality, match up to a decent place at crown quality, only negative is the smell of cigarettes throughout the restaurant it was quite strong, and for a family that has kids or non smokers can be unpleasant, but everything else is amazing the customer service is top notch.

This place is so overated and overpriced. My wife and I ordered a One Kilo meat platter for $50. Now try and imagine how big it should be, if you thought you would get a a board full of meat coming your way. I have news for you. Underwhelmed is the closest word I can think of. The 4 tiny pieces of ribs was hardly even covered with sauce. The chicken wings were cold and the teaspoon size salad was bland. If you are hungry or want to have a good experience, don't bother coming here.

Recently had a small party at this place and was great food and ambiance. The staff was friendly and provided great service. Shout out to Steve and Remy for helping all the way through.

Great tasting ribs and wings, awesome desserts and even better customer service from our waitress Gloria. Keep up the great work. You guys never disappoint

Come here nearly every week to catch up with friends, food is generally good only had two occasions within the two or so years coming here but they rectified the issue straight away. Good place to sit back relax and have a good feed A+

Far from fine dining, but the food is surprisingly delicious. Steak is one of the best on this side of Melbourne (and 1/2 price on a Wednesday) and even those who ordered a salad were really impressed. The cheeseburger fries were a dirty treat too. Staff were friendly and more than happy to split the bill at the end. Couldn't recommend highly enough and definitely going back.

Liked the atmosphere, and the food was alright. Great place to have a couple of drinks and a feed with your friends, especially if you get a booth (T. V can be a good distraction)

25 min waiting before I had to get up and ask for someone to take our order.
We finally ordered our drinks and meals.
One Meal arrived half hout later
(it then took over another half hour for all 3 meals to arrive at seperate intervals)
And one of the meals were wrong.
Why bother with staff if customers are doing their jobs?
Very poor service.

Nice food. But got overcharged for the wine. Asked for the house Shiraz. There was no house Shiraz and we were given pepperjack shiraz and charged without being told - I have sent you an email in response to your message below but have not heard back from you

Great place for a gathering, to watch a game or just get out of the house before you go mad with the insanity of living with the human condition. 5 stars.

The staff was rude, on multiple occasions a waitperson completely ignored us even going to so far as to turn and walk away from us when we got up to flag her. The food is pretty good.

My chicken parma was too salty. I love their steak and ribs though. Toilets are a disgrace. No toilet paper and men's didn't have a basin to wash hands.

Service has needed work for ages. Always waiting at the bar for too long even when it's not busy. I don't bother grabbing a beer when it's busy anymore.

Other than that great venue.

Great service & the staff are very friendly & the food is great and tastes great too the staff are really welcoming & the staff name cariee keep up the great work I will be coming here a lot more too

Sensational food and atmosphere is really good and the staff are very friendly and helpful and the prices are very reasonable and the beer is icy cold and very moreish
