The Spice Club reviews
66 Very disappointed with the service and food. We ordered Mild chicken Tikka Masala, chicken was stale with foul smell, and curry was sooo spicy. We also ordered Daal Makhani which was full of cream and served cold. Poorly presented food.
When we complained about the Stale chicken staff didn't do anything and chrged us full price.
One of the worst night I had by visiting at this restaurant extremely poor service plus food was 0 out of 10.
Please think twice or three before visiting this place.
A hell of a problem finding parking on a Saturday night, but it was worth the effort. Very good food, the onion kulcha was particularly good, good service and reasonable price.
Had dinner while our way back to home from sorrento. The food was really good but a bit of expenisive
I took chicken biryani which was very bad no taste nothing and looks like it was cooked 1 day before i will not go again
Dinner at the Spice Club was delicious! As we always do, ordered too much but took it home for dinner the following night. Service with a smile was so welcome and will definitely be back!
I've enjoyed Indian food for 30 years and the disparity in quality can be stark. Have I had worse then The Spice Club? Yes. But its taste is bland and uninspriring. On this occasion we ordered 3 takeaway meals. It wasn't a great start when none were labelled. Especially as they were all chicken. Things didn't get any better on the taste front. We won't be ordering again.
Very nice and clean restaurant. Good looking food. Will definitely go again to have other items.
Came back from weekend away to find someone's meal on our door step. Wrong street. Right number.
Worst food ever. I am so disappointed, the quality and the quality is just worst. Unbelievable, this is so bad. Who ever watching. Save your money
The food hear was outstanding delicious and met all expectations. I highly recommend requesting for the Goat dish and we ate the Lamb Vindaloo which was delicious. The flavours I thoroughly enjoyed. A beautiful gem hidden in Frankston.
ABSOLUTELY ridiculous prices for take-away!
No phone number that works to call and order. Only way to order pick-up is through Menulog which you pay a premium for, absolute rip off!
I gave one star for food which was quite good but disappointed with their staff as I feel like I entered somewhere else not in hospitality industry waiters wear colourful clothes and open hair don’t you think it’s appropriate for hospitality field restaurant should need some cleaning too staff should treat guest with manners they should have their proper decent colour clothes I visit many places but never seen this kind of services I think she is new in this field senior should trained her properly other then that was ok
Expansive dishes so high quality expected. Told the waitress the roti is burned and taest bitter, please change 1 for me. End up chief came out and told me it is like that. The burn is normal. OK I accept you treat me like low intelligent dud. So you deserve a star. Will not come again.
Great staff and fantastic food
Fluffy rice hot curries mixed vegetables. And cold beer definitely come back.
Went for dinner over the weekend and it was a lovely experience. Delicious food especially paneer alloo tikki for entrée (the best one I’ve had in a long time) The main meals were nice too and the staff member who served us was very friendly.
Will definitely dine in again when in the area
Best best best Indian restaurant of Frankston! I highly recommend Butter chicken, cheese naan and Chicken Korma! Unforgettable flavour
Came back from weekend away to find someone's meal on our door step. Wrong street. Right number.
No rice with a main butter chicken and their Raita is watered down. Mediocre at best and poor value.
Try another place.
Excellent food. These people know Indian cooking and ingredients. Good staff. I've seen the negative reviews re service or delivery times. Maybe they're too used to McDonald's service times. Not sure. Ordered delivery tonight. They warned me 60 to 70 minutes. Might have been 70 to 75 minutes. Who cares? Grouse
