I find out a warm hospitality and the owner is very professional. He loves his job and it easy to feel. The shop design is fine and customized. I suggest to come and try as relax experience. I will come back for sure!

Glad I’ve found this barbershop when I was walking around in the neighborhood. I could already feel how professional the place and the barbers are by taking a look from the outside.

During my time in Melbourne I went there 3 times. Both barbers I had, Natalee and Eddie, are very friendly and delivered great results with my hair. They made sure I got what I wanted by communicating well! Value for money is also very good!

We came in on Saturday with my 7 year old son when it was really busy and we didn't have an appointment. They were so accommodating and squeezed us in. To complicate things, my son had cut a bit of his own hair which was very obvious. The staff were really helpful in styling it to work well. They were so patient and we would highly recommend to anyone!

We're do I start I'm not person who leaves reviews but in all honesty these guys deserve one.
Been coming here for over 6 months and personally get my haircut with Milad and Joey they are magicians and know exactly what to do. Im a very picky person when it comes to my hair and have been to all the barbers down high st and by far these guys have got it right and highly recommend this place to anyone who wants it done right.
And thanks again for fitting me in this morning Milad your a gun.

Absolutely terrific experience! Staff were very welcoming as well as very professional. My barber (Angelo) took his time to understand what I wanted and did an amazing job! I was very happy with the fade and the price was very reasonable!

They managed to squeeze me in last min which is great. I had Angelo who actually has good cutting skills. However that’s where the good comments end.

I asked for a certain hair cut and even showed him a picture. Was pretty basic, short back and sides, leave the fringe a bit longer as I’m growing it out a bit. That was completely ignored. Back and sides look great. Pity he followed that up by giving me a super short army cut up top. So back to square one.

Also. 37 degree day, not even a glass of water offered. - *More an observation then complaint, as most barbers offer you at least water before starting.

Time to pay and even though he stuffed it up and acknowledged that he did, I was still happy to pay the $30 for a basic cut. Nope, charged me $35.45 and said it was a fade cause he went from a 1 to a 2 into the main ‘style’. Oh and a card fee I imagine.

* I’m not a hairdresser, nor did I ask for a fade. I asked for Short Back & Sides. - You can’t just do a fade without telling a client and then charge them for it. That’s just scamming people.

*Also, your prices are reasonable. Im complaining that I got charged for something I didn’t ask for even after he stuffed up the cut. If I liked the cut I wouldn’t care.

****As for the offer in your response, no thanks.
You’re having a go at me about what I’ve written in my review then offering me a free haircut and refund. Doesn’t exactly make me want to trust you with sharp scissors and go running back into your salon bro.

Keep the $35.45 for the haircut I didn’t ask for or better yet, donate it to a men’s charity and post the receipt on here. Beyond blue maybe?

I’ll just consider it a lesson and find another barber.

My first haircut here was bad but the owner has personally and immediately responded to my comments. Since then I was offered a free hair cut from the owner himself. This showed great management of his business and I appreciated the immediate response. My new hair cut is great, the best I’ve had in a while and I highly recommend and will be going back again.

Great service every time I've been there. Had a different barber each time too and standard with each was very high. Prices are quite reasonable too. I am new to Melbourne so I think I struck gold going to Specialist Barber before any others in the area. Will be a loyal customer as long as there is hair on my face!
