The Source Bulk Foods Geelong

This place has it all! I purchased the item (plu 40441) a gluten free bread mix. I followed the store's website instructions on how to make it and it came out perfectly first go! I was greeted by 2 friendly and very knowledgeable staff members who were actively making sure the shop was clean and in impeccable presentation. They knew a lot about the products I asked about and were happy to assist me. I even added a picture of the bread for one of them to this review. I was told I should have let the bread rise more by a friend, that's my bad. The bread was amazing! Thank you to the awesome staff for their kind assistance and guidance.

Went to ‘the source’ a few weeks back to give the whole ‘bulk buying’ sub-culture a go; my experience was extraordinary! The large variety and quite aesthetic layout was amazing in on itself, nevertheless the staff were on another level. A nice young lady, Carla was more than welcoming, and extremely content in helping me through the process of bulk buying, as well as recommending her favourite product, (milk chocolate almonds) which were definitely a hit!

I recommend everyone check out ‘the source’ on their next new adventure. Or, if you’re one for bulk, your new frequent store.

This is the first time I have not purchased tinned beans and this is where I came for soy beans, and only soy beans. But based on the many tubs of many things, some known, some new, as well as the friendly staff and good prices - I most certainly will be back.

Excellent place to visit, so many choices and you can buy just the amount you need. So there is no wastage

We’re regulars at The Source, traveling in our van we check the store in every town we stop to stock up, and the one in Geelong has been one of the best by far!

The staff is super friendly. Greg was super helpful, chilled and patient, considering that I always bring all our jars and bags. We talked about his plans on traveling with his van and we showed him our decked van so he could get some ideas for his.

By the end of my buys, the owner gifted me a The source bag, which I carry everywhere we go for groceries and a hazelnut paste to make milk.

We loved this place and super recommend it to anyone who’s around Geelong for some amazing bulk foods!

My three-year old son spent 2 hours on his Easter colouring competition for The Source - an amazing amount of time for a three-year old to spend doing anything! He had to be dragged away crying to eat dinner, and then was straight back to it after he'd eaten. Finally, he excitedly announced he was finished and then begged for us to go and hand it in the next day.

When he proudly passed it over to the two staff at The Source in Geelong West, they were amazing. They praised his efforts, and even hung it in the window right in front of him. He left the store absolutely beaming with pride.

We already knew The Source was working to make a better world for our generation by providing a waste-free option for shopping, but they also showed a little boy the importance of kindness and encouragement to others. Thank you The Source - you will always have our business!

Ran in to get kombucha and was very pleasantly surprised by the range of dry goods and the layout of the store. Immediately signed up. Will return for more gold essence dark chocolate!

Good variety of pantry products, a lot of organic options and prices are pretty good to reasonable. Some really nice treats too like sugar free gummy bears, couverture chocolate lindt chocolate, choc balls among the healthier alternative options and blended teas. The staff member there was very friendly and attentive when needed.
