Great place to buy grains, cooking ingredients, health food supplies and a great range of vegan cooking products too. Lots of yummy healthy treats too! Friendly staff who are very helpful. You can bring your own containers, which improves sustainability of using these products. The prices are very competitive as well. I always look forward to shopping here. Highly recommended!

Great variety. Friendly staff. I like the fact that I can determine my own quantities of what I buy rather than being restricted to prepackaged items.

When you walk into the store you don t feel welcome unlike the other stores all the girls are helping.if you ask anything the girls say its just on that side, both the times i have experienced the same thing so i'm not visiting Balaclava store anymore

Love this place, ingredients are cheaper per weight than in the supermarkets generally and the staff are super friendly! If you want to reduce your waste, this is the destination!

I discovered this place about 2 months ago and I'm a regular at the balaclava store now! Their jute bag is economical, sturdy and helps me stop using plastic bags on a regular! I like the variety they have in nuts, whole and flours and seeds. Their Granola range is amazing too and the chocolates as well. I'm yet to try out all the hand, dishwashing and body soaps along with the bamboo toothbrushes. Needless to say the store is run well and always has specials on sale. The only thing I'd wish for more would be new products which are not related to breakfast cereals but more on the savory side. Apart from that, love the place!

Love the Bonsoy milk price - but be careful and know your prices when buying there. Sometimes shelf and final prices can be different so check them carefully.

I only come here to get Organic Nuts etc, for both myself and my Parrot. Good prices and very wide selection of products too. Overall I really like the place.

Stingy with refilling up the kombucha bottles. There seems to be alot of frothing if customers pour there own kombucha themselves and so the store offers to decant out in the back room. The trouble is that all the other stores don't have this problem and it's an ongoing problem with this store, I question whether this store has gigged it up so to prevent spillage from customer pouring it independently and also not filling up the bottle to the top to be able to fill more bottles and make more money
