The Snappy Grump

It’s still and probably always will be my favourite breakfast and coffee spot in Melbourne.
The I would and do drive for miles for the Cilbir eggs and the friendly staff

4 of us popped for breakfast. So glad we did. Most excellent coffee made by the fabulous Lia. Our breakfasts were excellent too. Wonderful staff in a fun and funky Café.

Enjoyed a strong latte and a small apple bite. Yummy! The bathroom was perfectly clean as well

I had a sip of my coffee, it is so cold/warmish, I would like my coffee to be warmish/hot.
The ham and cheese toastes are to die for it is so yummy.
Appart from this the place is a lovely environment, warm, friendly and feel like you are at home, just one thing I would like to point out though when dealing with food and drinks would be best if all heair was up completely and not half up and half down.

Friendly atmosphere, lovely staff, delicious looking food and the best tasting mocha in existence! They have plenty of options for dairy and gluten free etc and their prices are also great. Best cafe in Hampton by far

The staff at Snappy Grump are the loveliest and friendliest staff I have come across. They always greet you with a smile and the little added extra ‘ tiny teddy’ on my coffee just makes my day. Jacqui

What a fantastic Cafe! Really nice coffees (flat white and soy latte) that were accompanied by a Tiny Teddy biscuit. So cute! Table service but QR menu on table. Husband just had toast with jam while I couldn't go past classic toastie (cheese and tomato). Really really nice too, just right amount of cheesiness. Note butter for toast came out in a little twist, really good attention to detail. Aaron our waitperson was excellent, really friendly and efficient. I also loved the decor with its art and greenery, really comfortable and inviting. Will return to try avo smash. Highly recommend.

Brought my family to the cafe after watching the girls compete on the Amazing Race and could not recommend this place any higher. Despite being busy, both Gabby and Flicka were super kind to us and made sure we were looked after. The food was also delicious and the coffees were great. Even got to chat to the girls about their experience on the race.

Absolutely the best place ever! Great vibe and lovely friendly staff that go above and beyond for service. Great place for a quick coffee or a sit down meal, the food is delicious! Try the BSAT, you won't be disappointed! I'd give 6 stars if I could x

Hmm, questionable food. Questionable hygiene. Sat and watched as the waitress went and patted a customer's dog, didn't see her go and wash her hands, then she started re arranging the muffins.
The food was average, had the bacon roll. Why it needs some more carbs with a hash brown I dunno, then to melt some plastic cheese on that, not really adding anything to the dish.

My favourite local cafe – the friendliest staff, delicious food and perfect coffee. What more could you want?

Contrary to the name, staff couldn't have been nicer! Food was good and vibe was immaculate. Will be back:)

The team, food and atmosphere here is absolutely amazing! They also cater (very carefully) for me as a coeliac and they go out of their way to take every step possible to ensure it's safe! They also have a wide range of gluten free and dairy free options - the banana bread is also highly addictive!

The Snappy Grump team helped to make my birthday extra special, even before I told them! Will definitely be making the trip back for their delicious coffee and lovely service x
