I bought my wedding dress from a store but lost a bit of weight - a girlfriend of mine who had her wedding dress altered by Cecilia recommended her so I had no hesitation in doing so!

My dress was originally super long and I wasn't looking for a train, but Cecilia found a way to add a bit of one when she altered the length and it worked out perfectly!

Definitely recommend - her expertise is like no other and she's the sweetest person! Thanks Cecilia!

I purchased a dream gown off the rack from a sample sales and it was 2-3 size larger. It was a price too good to pass but I started stressing out after getting a couple of quotes for alteration that ranged from 1-2k.

When I came to the sewing room, I was surprised by how affordable and competitive their pricing was. It was literally a fraction of what I was initially quoted. Not just that, Cecilia and her team were always welcoming and warm and they did and excellent job in taking in the dress! I am so grateful to come across them. Thank you again Cecilia!

I cannot praise the team at The Sewing Room enough especially Tita Cecile. My wedding dress was a nightmare to alter due to lots of layers and frills plus all the last minute drama it came with and no hassle at all from Tita Cecile taking it back rushing to finish the day before my day for some last minute alterations after it supposedly being finished the week before. The whole issue was entirely because of me not the work and yet they delivered the perfect dress at the perfect time.

Apart from my wedding dress, I had my bridesmaids dresses and FH suit pants fixed as well. Very quick turn around and more than reasonable with the charges all in all. They gave so much care and love to me and my needs with all the work I needed done. Cannot thank the Sewing Room enough for making our wedding more special because we all looked so good and had lots of compliments.

You can trust them to do a great job no matter what you need done. It’s not just experience that they have, it’s also the fact that they take pride with the work they do. I am so glad I found them coz my dress is one of many that represents their great work ethic and made it look like it was mine in the first place.

Altered my dress a couple of times because I couldn’t make up my mind and they were so accommodating. Friendly staff, excellent service and affordable on any budget. They even spot cleaned my dress free of charge. Highly recommend and will definitely be back with future alterations

I had a wonderful experience with Cecila. 1 year ago, I had asked her if she was able to create a wedding dress for me. I gave her inspiration from a few different dresses, and she performed a miracle.
I am so happy with how the dress was created, and all the little details along with it. It was a dream creation! I couldn’t recommend the sewing room any higher. Cecila and her sister are angels.

Had a hiccup at the start when I first started using this service, but since then these lovely women have been fantastic. Their work is of such excellent quality.

Cecilia performed a miracle with my wedding dress as I gained a little weight, she was able to not only alter the dress but transformed it into something more beautiful by just adding little details to compliment my body shape more.

Sometimes you walk into a business and tell instantly both the employees and owner cares deeply about their work. This is such a place, these guys absolutely deserve your attention. For me they altered my pants under time pressure and charged me a fraction of what it'd cost to get a new suit, will definitely be coming back again.

Got a quote for some alterations for a wedding dress. Great communication, friendly and very resonalably priced. Only reason we didn't go through was the we went with someone closer to the Brides location. I would recommend this business if you are close to the area.

Thank you to the amazing women at The Sewing Room Berwick. Their work and service was amazing. My wedding dress needed to be taken up, straps shortened and they added a button to hold my dress up while I dance. My dress had heaps of detail lace at the bottom and they stitched it back like it had not been touched. We also had my mums 30 year old veil to be fixed and altered, it came out looking beautiful! The boys got their suits altered, quick/easy and they fitted perfectly. Very happy and definitely recommend
