The Sebel Creswick Forest Resort reviews
13Stayed at the resort from the 1/12/23 - 3/12/23 and ended up accidentally leaving an expensive pair of sunglasses. I’ve tried contacting management with no reply and no follow up. This is super upsetting as I feel house keeping have stolen them
The place looks clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped however there is no oil, butter or salt for cooking. Furthermore the downstairs toilet doesn't flush.
There isn't much for me to do in the immediate vicinity (walking distance) of this resort.
Just 20mins out of Ballarat this wonderful self contained 2 bedroom unit is a joy to stay at.
Simply constructed with ample amenities, this is a great place to have a getaway literally away from the hustle and bustle of a city but close enough to a regional town so that if you didn't want to cook you'd still be able to whisk into town and enjoy a wonderful evening out.
The unit we were in was a 2 bedroom. Bedrooms are located upstairs and each equipped with a bathtub each facing the outdoors. How luxurious.
The bedrooms each have their own ensuites Witham skylight to boot.
There is a void with the slanted roof that nicely connects the bottom and the top areas.
Downstairs there is a little reading nook, a more formal sitting area and then a dining area and kitchen all connected via 1 walkway.
The dining and sitting area share a fireplace which would be very cosy during the winter months.
Great place to have a weekend away.
A nice quiet location just 20 minutes from Ballarat. The two bedrooms upstairs are a decent size even with a big bath in each bedroom. The shower door in both ensuites doesn't close properly, and even when you put the bathmat down, you end up standing on a wet floor. Unfortunately, both toilets were not clean as one would expect. The extra large blanket in the downstairs cupboard needs to be washed, it had quite a few stains on it.
The kitchen area was well equipped with all your cooking requirements. The dining table was a little wobbly, and the door to the laundry was off its track. Certainly, a lot of maintenance needs to be done in this Villa. There's no reception on arrival, it is all organized 5pm the day before with your Villa # and the code to access your key.
I certainly would go back as an Accor Club Member, it was ideal for our holiday. There's plenty of scenic drives that can be done from Creswick.
Well appointed townhouses located next to the RACV Can lub Creswick. We personally chose this accommodation as a base to explore the region and only use it as a sleeping spot.
There are facilities at the RACV Club next door, which be used for a fee, unless you are a RACV member then it's free.
The only disadvantage with the townhouses is to that they are positioned next to a main highway, and if you are in town houses in the lower numbers (ie 1 to 8) it could be noisy.
We were in unit 18 and it was quite.
There is no pool and no reception and no dining. No restaurant! Pools, reception and dining are advertised all over the sites! The dining table was in danger of collapse and the dining chair seats were filthy. The balconies were badly in need of a clean and some furniture. Out the back, dead fallen trees and collapsing dividing fence. Cobwebs on the fly wire doors. HOWEVER! The cockroaches were glad to see us.
Awesome place to relax. 3 minute drive to Creswick for food and shopping. You view this as a base to sleep there are no outside facilities
Great two bedroom place suitable for families that's part of my Accor vacation club timeshare, no check in desk or room service. Close by RACV restaurants are available. Not far away from Creswick Township and close to Ballarat. Lake Wendouree Park great for the kids.
Very large 2 bedroom apartments with clean lines, modern interiors, fully equipped kitchen, dining room, reading nook. Baths in bedrooms. We saw kangaroos and had a beautiful leafy outlook with pond. Beds super comfortable, great water pressure in shower. Very close to several Gold towns and tourist attractions, with the town of Creswick just down the road with delightful architecture to enjoy and numerous walks and trails.
We only stayed a couple of days, but wish we'd stayed a couple of weeks. Fabulous.
After a little hiccup with the size of the bed on the first night we enjoyed a lovely stay. The staff in the restaurant and the bar were fabulous. The food was divine. But the standout was the grounds with spectacular views and kangaroos that came right to our door
We loved our room, once we got the right bed. Great, spacious, split level villa with baths and a gorgeous gas fireplace. Warm cosy accommodation in a gorgeous setting, nestled in a beautiful valley with wildlife in abundance, especially kangaroos… one cam right up to our back door! Beautiful!
Always a great stay. Apartments always immaculate. Nice touch leaving the heater on for us on arrival. Thankyou
I'm a little disappointed. Dirty carpet, and not upkept to the best standard. Previous tenants hair was still in the bathroom. The furniture is dated and cheap quality. Very loud road traffic at 100km/hr and sitting outside is not peaceful. The toilet downstairs is awkward, with the basin not giving enough room to do your business. Water leaks under the shower door making it unpleasant to then try and dry yourself. TVs are very old; bring your own Chromecast for more options and quality. Duck droppings all over porch concrete. Cannot lock the back security door with a latch, can only be locked with a key and is easily accessed by the public which didn't make us feel totally safe. It's also a fire safety concern. Also there was no key for the front security door.
