I called in to offer some volunteer gardening for their community veggie garden and he couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful.
Looking forward to helping my fellow Aussies who find themselves down on their luck.
The Salvation Army supports and gives hope through the power of Jesus Christ. They will reach out to anyone and everyone wherever there is hardship or injustice without any discrimination. Anyone who is in need of any kind of support they welcome with open arms.
Instead of throwing away your clothes, why not donate them instead because some things you might not find useful can really help someone whose going through a really tough time.
The Salvation Army would have their monthly or weekly pick-ups where they provide you with the bag in your mail for donations. Or you can contact them directly and organise for them to pick it up instead.
If we all can give a little love then this world would be a better place to live in:)
