I've only given 3 stars as the nils loan I applied for over 6 months ago now still hasn't been accepted not rejected! I'm STILL waiting for it. I was given many different reasons over the many times I made enquiries about it. Today I think we got closest to the truth. The woman said all her saved stuff on her computer disappeared!
Saved stuff doesn't just vanish! So I'm guessing that she thought she had or saved it somewhere else, but at the end of the day it wasn't sent and she told me it was. But after my visit today maybe a result will be forthcoming soon.

I went for a nils loan application and the lady was knowledgeable about the loan process and helped me through the application so it was fairly quick and painless and was told the application was successful to the point where it was said that it was an achievable loan to pay back and fitted into one of the categories that the loan will be for and that i should get the decision within the following fortnight. So if u need a small loan ie, under $2000 give the salvos a call and ask about the NILS LOANS

The Salvos are into minimising costs. Food parcels availability has gone from 1 nonth to 3 months, totally inadequate for people in real need.if you present there and are ineligible they will direct you to other services in the area. Low act for one of the highest government funded services. BTW, not LGBTIQ+ friendly, it's all on the net, numerous examples

Been calling this number since 8: 55am, 72+ try's later still no one wants to pickup the phone. Out of those calls 10+ trys actually ring but still no answer come on! Keep ringing they said arghh

This place does great food parcels if you call in advance. They can also help you with welfare issues, you just need to ring them at 9.00 and they take 15 appointments a day for welfare clients. The staff are wonderful, I can't praise this place enough.

Thanks to the salvation army for helping me in Covid pandemic. They have donated me the gift cards and food items. Thank you.

I was eating in the Chappel with the group with an older lady claiming to run the church with curly short grey glasses continued to run others down on Sunday

She's attacked myself with two elderly family members over eating before ceremony

Say'ing you didn't bring nothing your not welcome here also she's victimised others at the Richmond corps

She's turn the guest against us and she thinks that it's fun and games

I delivered food here, staff/helpers very friendly
Doing a wonderful service to the community
