Gave me an appointment during my work hours. I cannot call to reschedule as your opening hours is during my work hours. Only time i can call is on my breaks and there's usually 15 other people ahead of the call before I even get a chance to talk to anyone. And this will cut off my payments due to this.

Absolutely Disgusting at the way they treat people. They especially Lisa is very patronising rude and unprofessional in every way what so ever. Especially when they get paid to have people come through the door. Lisa answers to No one and shouldn’t be in the job that she has. Wake to yourself and Do the job you’re paid to do! Or resign and be a cleaner. Do something about it Head Office

Absolutely disgusting conduct from the staff in this employment agency.
Can talk to 3 different staff members and the same question gets 3 different answers. The staff all contradict each other and seemingly don't know how to use their computer systems.

I am always 5 minutes early for meetings and have been consistently made to wait 30 minutes before seeing someone without even a "sorry"

Had a meeting with the manager to discuss a consistent meeting schedule and explained to him I was suicidal and needed consistent meetings to help manage my anxiety. He booked me in for fortnightly meetings, same time and day over 3 months. However I spent the next 3 months getting random bi weekly meetings on random days and when I questioned it was told by the manager that no such bookings were ever made by him and that he couldn't remember talking to me.

Watched a staff member just yesterday try to coerce an elderly man into signing a form without reading it. When he insisted he would like to read it first he was encouraged not to.

The salvation army directly neglects disadvantaged people, suicidal people, mentally ill and poverty stricken people. Goes directly against Christian values. I have made a formal complaint to the salvation army head office and written to the Victorian fair work ombudsman with a list of the many violations of legislation I have seen here.
Avoid this job search agency.

The only reason I am giving 4 stars is that they don't have a direct phone line to their offices,
and unfortunatley through the National phone line it can often takes hours to get a hold of a customer service officer.

This can be quite frustrating when you do need to update your details or make notifications and such.

However, I will give a special mention to Rashidah, who is excellent and has been a pleasure to deal with.

She is very understanding and supportive of her clients goals and boundries in terms of employment ; working very hard to help aid in their success, all whilst keeping a polite professional deameanor.

I was really impressed with her as a consultant.

Really aporeciate Lisa Lou, the new officer at the Preston Branch of Salvation Army Employment plus. What a nice lady, kind and patient. She helped me a lot. She seriously introduced a few decent job opportunities, and kept communicating with me. Within a month, she has helped me to find three local firms, and I was employed by one of it. Thanks again!

Constant barrage of unuseful job opportunities via text message, and courses via email. Have called many MANY times, and emailed my 'consultant' with no response, to cease my contract with them only to be on hold for over 10 minutes.

Do not recommend as a provider.

Terrible.felt disregarded and pushed to meet unrealistic standards.had multiple payments put on hold because of lack of communication from their part.only heard from different people on a monthly basis, was never offered a number to contact inbetween out of the blue appointments.always had to call the national number just to talk to someone.

I called over a dozen times over two months just to try and get them to sign a single form so that I can officially have started my job and get paid for it, they have answered once and said "I'll get back to you tomorrow" and never did.

Was lied to about work for the dole starting dates and then fobbed off and no one would take my call to sort out legitamite issues.
They generally tell you what you want to hear then sign you up to something without consultation then refuse to take your phone call. Samantha was particularly disgusting, I think she enjoys lying and making fun of people.

GO ELSEWHERE - if you have to choose.
I've had experience with a couple of different job network organisations and I have to say that Employment Plus in Preston is by far the worst.
I can't entirely put my finger on it!? Maybe its the feeling like it's a production-line mindset in how they treat clients and people. There seems to be very little flexibility across their organisational structure to adjust to your individual needs or make allowances for missed appointments. They make you jump through unnecessary hoops to fulfill obligations and their desire to monitor your movements within their structure is again inflexible and demeaning. With it's overly bright eye-strain and migraine inducing interior lighting beating down on you, the old and inefficient laptop computer work stations gathered around a table in which you all sit together in groups with no privacy, the horrible open plan office with horrible aesthetic values, I would strongly recommend finding another employment agency to be involved with. I want to get off NewStart benefits just to get away from there.

From day one all of the staff were very rude and even childish. They never offered any help and when i asked for help they would either act like i was wasting there time or actually say they just didnt want to help the boss is rude and barely willing to do her job. I moved to job prospects within the week i moved there they helped me find a job and helped me with new equipment as a professional jobnetwork should do. Your best bet is going anywhere but here

They do nothing to help. They ask you to bring in your resume, qualifications employment history etc and don't even look at it.
All they do is get you to sign a piece of paper that says you will look for 20 jobs a month. And say they'll see you at ypur next appointment which is the exact same thing. Useless.

NOT EVEN WORTH A STAR.
ISNT THESE PLACES SET UP TO HELP FIND EMPLOYMENT FOR JOB SEEKERS?
THEY OFFER NO SUPPORT AT ALL.
